Doesn't mean it's a similar story if he plays as a wide forward consistently, it's simply not that he has that "forward gene". Both Naga and Maic can display their strength if they have the space to combine with other players starting in our own half or the midfield and when they are able to push forward from this area. You would simply take off the elementary parts of their game when they're stuck to the corner flags. They have better chances to score as FBs. That's why Mou or any other coach has never ever put Maicon as winger (or even in midfield) from the start.

Also in defence Caldirola is needed because of CT-status. So if we get new CB, who will be left out? Cordoba?

In attack, who do we left out if we get a new winger (Palacio, Zarate?) ? Coutinho or Alvarez?

I agree with you but I think Gasp will use Zanetti as a wingback, that would be my guess anyway

Yeah could be, but it isn't important where Zanetti is positioned in the list (because the list is just one list ) The point was that we have to leave out some players currently in our squad since we have to get 4 CT players to the list. If we get another forward/winger, we need to leave Coutinho/Alvarez/Poli out.
