He can be a starter for 2 years and then a backup the last year. I see no problem. He'll be 37 when his contract ends, Handa left at 39, this is normal for goalkeepers.
We replace Onana with 10% of the fee from the money we got for him, back in 2021 we replaced Lukaku with 1% of the money we got for him with Dzeko. This is Inter nowadays.

Forum SupporterI don't mind the 3 years. We've signed a good backup if he starts to decline. But we seriously need to look for a future GK starting from today even if Sommer performs well this year.

Sad but true. We live in times were we can’t compete with the Atalanta’s, Benfica’s and Ajax’s of this world if we are talking about transfersums. I’m am really very worried about or future as a topclub. Given the fact we can’t compete for the toptalents, we can’t develop or own and the ageing topplayers will prefer Arabia from now on.
