I understand Eto'o, who decided to go in Russia after he won every cup you can imagine, but shaqiry, a 22 years old player, can't prefer Russian money to Inter or Atl.Madrid....

Oh, and you need to win something in europe to be great? First of all, i when i mentioned winning, i meant russian competitions.

Second, there ARE some great teams. Zenit and CSKA come to my mind. There are some players in those team i'd take over ours any day of the week.

See M'Vila who decided to renounce money to leave Russia and come to Inter. This is a good mentality... Then if you'd prefer to go in Russia to play for Zenit or CSKA, it's ok... but i'd always prefer to play in major European Leagues where i can play against really great teams and great players... The most of us don't know the 80% of players that play in Russia, i'm sure :troll:

Shaqiri is not crazy to ruin his career by going to Russia. I think jube are a real competitor for the signature of the player and perhaps will choose them because they can offer him CL. This guy has tremendous talent and will be glad if we can attract him, but it is very difficult mainly because of the money that Bayern want to the loan and then for the transfer.

That's not necessarily true. They've been in HORRENDOUS debt. Their owner had to make huge personal sacrifices to keep the team afloat the past couple of years

I think this year's mercato was majorly centered around balancing the books. Therefore I'm not sure they have that much money left over right now
