man..pippo was the reason I loved Milan....
pippo is fantastic...he was the best striker Milan ever had, even better than Van basten. His elegance and touch is still unmatched in the world...
Not to mention that he is an absolute gentleman on the pitch for never falling under any challenge. :star: Also, he turns his team-mates 'on' because he can make those dangerous runs and yet stay onside.

Nah, I think we spice up the topic. It's gonna be boring if we only talk about how complete Shevchenko is, how fast Henry is or how powerful Adriano's shots are. :)

Back on the topic, what do you guys think of Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink?

Hasselbaink is a great finisher. He has a little bit of everything, good dribbling, good pace, can score with either feet, and is a great header.

He scored 20+ goals in LaLiga, Portuguese League and many times in EPL. You have to be a great striker to be able to achieve that.

To me Adriano is the best there is at the moment but Sheva is a close second. I am looking foward to the Messi evolution he should provide some show!
Then we will see the Robinho vs Messi rivalry all the time!!! :lick:

I don't consider both Robinho or Messi to be strikers but if you ask me to choose, definitely the latter without even thinking. The former is just famous for his stepovers, which albeit entertaining, not very effective.

I wouldn't even mind buying Jimmy Hasselbaink for 4-5 mil. He would be a good bench striker.

For me Shevchenko is the best!
Great skill, fast, excellent technique and awesome finisher, can change the flow of a game himself.
Two bad he's playing for Bilan..

Put Adriano :star: and Eto'o of course which are very young and have a lot to give.

Comment: Pipo is a great finisher indeed and has great positioning.
He lacks in skills and technique though..
The kind of player that keeps falling down and cries like a little girl to the ref.
