What a shame wasting his career in a low level league in Saudi Arabia (no offense to anyone but it's nothing compared to coaching in Europe), to think Mou picked him out as his predecessor.

His team debuted and got a late winner against one of the worst teams in the league today.

I didn't have time to watch it, unfortunately. Let's hope he does well and goes back to Italy. I really want him to succeed.

Inter Started Winning When Zlatan Ibrahimovic Left Them - Walter Zenga

Former Inter goalkeeper Walter Zenga has slammed Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Former goalkeeper Walter Zenga has taken a swipe at Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, claiming Inter won everything after he left.

Ibrahimovic joined Barcelona in summer 2009 and Inter won the treble the following season.

Zenga has responded to the striker who stirred debate when he claimed Milan are better than Inter.

"Ibrahimovic played for Ajax, Juventus, Inter, Barcelona and now Milan and he has always done well," Zenga told Inter TV.

"He has always been a serious professional and did very well with Inter. But Inter won everything after he left."

Zenga also claimed he wanted to coach the Nerazzurri at some point in his career.

"One day I would like to coach them. It's my home there where I spent 22 years."

Couldn't say it better myself. :)

I honestly see Benitez staying for at least 3 seasons... Zenga will probably be his replacement. I'd love to see him at the helm...

So, since Walter is coaching in my country I decided to share some info with you. Especially now that some people consider him a candidate for our coach job.

He's currently coaching Al-Nasser, which finished 3rd last season. The team is one of the most supported teams in the region, but hasn't won anything in a long time, so it's a challenge.

He was under fire after the first two months, but got good results in consecutive matches. So he's not under pressure anymore.

They're now 4th but only two points away from the leader AlIttihad, it's worth mentioning that Alittihad played one less game than AlNasser.

They played 13 games, won 6, drew 6, lost 1. Scored 24, conceded 15 goals.

Most of the substitutions are in the last 15 minutes.

If you need any more info don't hesitate to ask.

Although Al-Hilal still have a lot of games in hand and will probably end up being first once they have the same number of games Al-Nassr currently have. Although I don't think he's good enough for Inter, not even close, I do believe that we can't use Al-Nassr as a benchmark, the team literally seem to be all bark no bite and would rather try to be a poor man's Al-Hilal than have their own philosophy.

I do think he has a poor team and is doing much better with the team that he has than any other coach would, but I still think that it doesn't add much to his resume. Let's see if he can get them into second place by the end of the year I think that would be a good result for Al-Nassr.

The first stories were that he quit, but the official story is that he was sacked.

Alnassr just got out of a horrible draw which pretty much keeps them away from title contention and I think the prince decided to sack him. I can ask a source from within the club and come up with the official news.

The funny thing is that the biggest 3 teams other than Hilal sacked their coaches yesterday.

So Zenga failed at Al Nassr or whatever his team was called?

Not really. His team is not in the big 3 anymore. It's more like Liverpool these days. High expectations with weak squad.

I don't follow the league but I hear they were 8 out of 12 teams so yeah I reckon he failed.

I wouldn't say he failed, I think before people jump to conclusions about his performance they should know the nature of the league. AlNassr is a team that barks a lot but has no bite, in terms of quality they are incomparable to the top 3 teams in the league, but their board as well as their fans believe that they are on the same level. In terms of spending they don't even come close to the overall spending that AlHilal or Alittihad spend even though they broke the record when they bought a Saudi player last season. The league is a very difficult league to coach in because of the pressures and expectation from the Princes or Managers of the clubs and AlNassr is probably the team with the most pressure because of it's constant failures over time, think Inter circa 2000-2002.
