Very decent passing, glad it's not Cambiasso in the middle anymore.

From what i saw yesterday he is made for this team. Missing link, a pure defensive workhorse in the middle who knows how to press and when needed to go forward and pass the ball. Not even that we must buy him at the end of the year but he would be huge for us. He may be the best buy out since Sneijder.

Dude is quick! He's gotta be one of the fastest guys in the team already, amazing when you think he's primarily a DM/CM. I love his hustle, finally someone with a bit of mongrel in midfield. He's exactly the sort of player we have needed for the last 2 years.

Just imagine we had a player with Alvarez technique but the physical attributes of Gargano he would be a BOSS!

Very impressive debut, his work rate is just too good and much needed addition to the team.

Just checked his stats, Guarin won more tackles than Gargano but the most impressive stat was Sneijder's. He made 5 or 6 key passes, that is just superb.

when people call someone a work horse, I just think of a failed player that just runs around with no point a.k.a. kuyt with liverpool. but gargano was literally all over, i remember this one time he went and covered for zanetti and prevented a goal

I loved one move of him where he takes the ball in our half and trying to go forward. And after he saw that all players infront of him are closed he didn't pass ball back like Motta, Stan ot Cambi. He decided to use his speed and space infront of him and run with a ball. That totally fucked up Pescara zone defence.

Can't agree with you enough. Said it when he first arrived it's good to have a CM who isn't afraid to pick up the ball and run with it at his feet, you don't have to be Kaka and dribble through the entire midfield. I wish we had more midfielders with this sort of mentality. Poli used to try this as well sometimes but Gargano is far better at it due to his speed and agility.

I'm very impressed with his debut.

His strengths seem to be: pace, positioning, stamina, and passing to an extent. I'm wondering, what are his weaknesses? Why isn't he highly regarded?

Because his name is not Walter Garginho or Walter Gazza Garry.

You guys ain't seen nothing yet. Once he gets comfortable with the tea, we will see a lot more of his passing and dribbling. Players like him make you feel that the team is more than 11 players, maybe 12 or 13.

I think it's 1.5 mil loan, to buy full right would be 5-5.5 in total.

Cassano or Ibrahimovic?

The midfielder continued by talking about the relationship between Inter and his homeland: "Inter are one of the most popular teams in Uruguay. I'm immensely proud to be wearing this shirt and it's a big thing for me to be able to represent Uruguay in Italian football. Recoba? We spent a bit of time together on holiday in Miami. He was always one of my idols. Him and Ruben Sosa."

I4E finally gets someone to tag along. :p

Among the positives that excited me the most was the way he could start a counter attack he can run pretty quickly with the ball at his feet.
