My God, I was like what guts Mancio and Pele have, and the young guy did well, the crowd was applauding him after his shots and gave him a moral booster, cuchu was also playing his part as an on-the-field mentor :D

Pele was a monster at the heart of the midfield yesterday. Despite his relative inexperience, he really did rise to the occasion. This will surely be the first of many stepping stones for a new star to arise in the nerazzurra colors. :)

Ciao,
Tim

must be great for him to participate in front of a full GM.
He did very well to cope with the nerve and tense of a Milan Derby.

not yet a monster

at the moment, he only has that giant frame to take advantage of

he may yet become just another makelele but time will tell

From my understanding we sign him on a 5 year contract and free transfer. :boogy:

According to transfermarkt.de, usually quite reliable, we signed him for 2m. Good bargain if he continues to develop.

Samuel is out, so he'll be excluded from the CL list. And since that Adriano is in Brazil, now I wonder who's going to replace Samuel in the CL?

I hope Pele replaces him, but Cesar is another possibility. :undecide:

It might be Pele unless we sign someone. We are short in that area and he has done a decent job so far.

there is enough place for Pele and Cesar as Samuel and Dacourt will miss the season.

I think he gave a good display today. Although Reggina wasn't giving any real challenges he looked very well in midfield along with Bolzoni.

I thought he was absolute rubbish, to be honest. He has no business doing in our team, and Bolzoni outshine him. Just look at whenever they switched positions and Pelé did the passes and how he stressed out he was and failed to complete it. And compare that with Bolzoni who only failed with ONE pass during the entire first half.

I say we loan Pelé out and promote Bolzoni instead.

I’m glad someone else agrees with me on this one. Reading through the posts every time this guy plays it seems as if he is the next big thing around. I’ve seen every single game he has played for our first team and to be honest I haven’t been impressed with him what so ever. I know he is young and pretty much inexperienced at this level but still this doesn’t change my current opinion about him. As you said Jimmy I too believe Bolzoni was much better than him tonight!
Even against a Reggina who I believe didn’t field their best team on the field Pele failed to shine.

Bolzoni was sharper, yes, but I didn't think Pele did too bad? He passed the ball around well and didn't do any great mistakes.
