Quaresma was a fringe player for our success in CL. I think that in this clause, there were some adnotations about minutes, or games played, or something. I just don't think that (if you win CL you pay 6 mln as long as Quaresma is with you) it is something that makes sense to me.

Depends on what the contract said. Some say just winning others are tied to how much the player played. Like I said nothing confirmed but when he signed for us porto said it was tied to winning the cl.

At the time is was an okay deal but I was more excited about the fact we had signed Mancini from Roma and thought he would do better than Quaresma as he was impressive in the previous season. Anyway I don't have a memorable moment of either of them but I do for Pele. I remember he was racing down the right side of the pitch and he passed it to Ibra on the final day against parma. Ibra missed but the rebound got thrown back into the box by maicon within 30seconds and we were 2-0 up.

As you might know he's currently playing in Eskisehirspor, a medi-core team in Turkey.



Eskisehirspor was playing against Sivasspor at home, and the score was 1-1 at 93rd minute and Eskisehirspor won a free-kick from 30 yards range. It was their last chance, and the usual free-kick taker of Eskisehirspor #10 Sezer Öztürk went there to take the free-kick, however.....
