For the last year I’ve pretty much been playing most of the games released as part of the psn+ monthly free games.

I will get around to assassins creed valhalla and a few others I bought but the games being released have been great. Glad I didn’t rush to buy a ps5 as I’d just be playing free PS4 games 🤣🤣

Well Ratchet is a fun platformer but if u played one u played most aside from the better graphics.

Returnal and Demon Souls are good shouts even though one is a remaster i doubt people played it at the time.

I played the free one ratchet and clank game they gave a few months back. I did not like it. So didn’t buy the new one

demon souls is like a 10 year old game with better graphics

Returnal….. enough to buy a system? So correction. 3 exclusive games in a 10 month console cycle?

Question here is do you expect the PS5 to get cheaper any time soon? Like t s 500/400 bucks now i dont think they ll slash that in the next two years...
Also for me many PS4 games are better on the PS5 just cause the controller is way better and the loading times are cut in half if not even more.
So if you buy the system now or in 1 years time imho really does not make a big difference.

Didnt he already get one?

Also usually its better to wait for the lighter smaller version. Thats usually when some of the better exclusives come out, unless u bought one for COD or FIFA or any annual game.

I already ended this discussion a few pages ago. The FIRST 9 months of PS4 WERE WORSE than what we have now.

It's not my fault people jump and buy every console that comes out. I skipped PS4 and I reap the rewards BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY YOU CAN'T MAKE AN AAA GAME in a year. Just wait, most big games always come out the last 3 months.

No consoles don’t really get any cheaper.

the switch is still at launch price 4 years later.

they will start bundling a game with the ps5 and Xbox X maybe next year but they can’t even keep up with demand in the US.

also for those people complaining about ps5 owners saying it sucks…..

what ps4 games are out there. Nothing good since Ghost of Tsushima

Meh, I have a suspicion you are more of a consumer instead of a gamer. Constantly buying new games.

How many games did you replay multiple times?

Do anybody here play games on laptops? I'm looking into buying a laptop with a RTX3070/3080 but I'm not sure which laptop can handle it without sounding like a spaceship or having the temperature of the sun and of course doesn't cost a furtune. I've been looking alot of the HP Omen but I don't think they offer RTX3080

If anybody does know and is willing to answer a few question, please let me know 🥳

Why do you want a gaming laptop specifically? I owned 2 or 3 in the past. They were fun to bring to university and play FM on during class but felt very limited when it came to playing anything that wasn't something basic like CS:GO or some emulation here and there. They would also get outdated rather quickly.

And yeah, they would all get hot. Like really hot lol. I remember buying a fan I could put underneath my laptop that would keep it elevated and would blow a fan on it.

I got a super stronk PC last year and have been having a blast so far. Much better than any laptop.

You have to spend like 1k more to get a water cooled laptop and even those overheat if you want to play gpu/cpu heavy games

My laptop cost 2k, it's actually very good but it gets boiling hot when loading games so it's not really a lap top. Got a cooling pad just to stop it from overheating, ie randomly closing on its own to save its ass.

Still no regrets though, but it's not for everyone. I wanted a laptop because I move between places a lot and it's space saving. Using my phone far more than the laptop, so if I had more time on the computer I'd consider a desktop. It's a better machine.

Yeah, that is why I'm getting hyped for Steam Deck. A lot cheaper, easily to set up with a tv/monitor + mouse + keyboard if needed, otherwise to play handheld like Switch.

Next time I buy a laptop, it's only for watching TV series/movies/animes

Just becuase I need to move around and wouldn't want to have 2 different computers. I had no idea that it gets outdated rather quickly, what exactly do you mean with that?

What kind of computer is that? I've watched some videos on MSI GS66 Stealth which according to critics on youtube does not get that hot but that laptop costs a fortune especially if you're going to have something better than RTX3060.

I'm down to pay over 1k for it.

What is a Steam Deck?

Thanks for taking your time to help :)

The parts inside of gaming laptops get outdated rather fast, and it's a lot more expensive and tricky to replace them than it is to do the same for a PC. You're playing a different kind of game keeping your laptop up to date for sure.

I also 2nd the Steam Deck. It looks cool imo.

Meh, only steam games. Why would I limit myself like that.

Lets say I don't want to replace the parts inside of a gaming laptop. If I'd pay lets say 1k-1.5k, wouldnt the computer last atleast 3-4 years on good level?

@Candreva Crosses it's an MSI but don't remember which model. And it gets too hot, it was part of the reviews so probably not the one you're talking about. Mine was like the 3rd most expensive option from MSI from the list I had to pick from, but there probably are more models.
