Anyone play Return the to Arkham it was the rerelease of the PS3 Arkham games on PS4. somehow looked worse and no new content or gameplay

If you remake Metal gear solid 1 do what twin snakes did. Make the graphics much much better but also use the current game play.

I want to play Final Fantasy 7 remake tho I think ff6,8,10,12 are the best. If the game play is the same hit me then I’ll hit you then I will stop playing it. Instantly or the bullshit grinding to level up.

It’s more as a owner of Nintendo systems( my wife loves them). They basically remade all their Nintendo Wii games on the Wii U the. That system failed so they ported it to the Switch!! It’s like dude seriously giving us DLC and a 10 year old game for $60 on a new system should get you shot in the fking dick

If you want to rerelease Resident evil for true 18yh time it shouldn’t be full priced. I don’t care if I experience it like the character in the game still a 20 year old game

Well RE2 is a remake no a remaster, so its completely new controls and new graphics. I want to play RE7 first though.

I did play the Arkham ones on PS4 and i just did it before i play Arkham Knight, they def looked like PS3 games but they sill had their moments.

Im the total opposite. I only get a few hours every week probably to play games, so quest markers are essential for me. I don't want to be running around wasting my time

Same here, I don't think I play more than 10 hours of video games per month nowadays.
Here's the deal with quest markers and what I meant by it - all recent (past 5 or 6 years) games feel literally the same. You pick up a quest/mission, you follow the trail on the screen, then there is a cutscene, then there is some more following of the arrow/minimap line, then you get to shoot/fight/do whatever and then the end. Very little variety, very little room for you to explore or tackle the in-game problem in a different way than the one that developers decided for you in advance. It literally feels like you are watching a movie more than playing a video game. A lot of people don't mind this and prefer to zone out and turn their brain off for an hour or so, but to me it feels utterly unrewarding. Games aimed at adults treat you like toddlers whose hands need to be held and guided at all times.
With old RE games specifically it was fun because the whole point of the game is exploring the maze-like level design and slowly and methodically figuring out which key or puzzle item goes where, untangling the thread slowly. That kind of experience will always feel far more rewarding when you accomplish whatever task the game throws at you.
I enjoyed RE4 a lot as well, but you are pretty much pushing through a single hallway through the entire game, only stopping to periodically shoot at things, and then rinse repeat.

Games are made to be consumed nowadays, not enjoyed. That's the issue I have. But again, I completely understand why you find the things that I dislike to be a good addition.
Here is a good, albeit lengthy video that recently went viral that explains all this way better than I do. It's specifically about RDR2 but the principle pretty much applies to every single AAA singleplayer game of the past half-decade.

I don’t have a lot of time to play games

I do prefer Nintendo games tho. They are perfect pick up play for 30 mins or an hour then go about your day. A lot of PS4 games feel like level up for 40 hours, watch 30 hours of cut scenes. Do something fun for 30 minutes

Like Spider-Man was super fun for an hour then the whole wow I am Spider-Man in a recreated NYC in 4K websling wore off it just wasn’t fun. It was a shitty Arkham clone.

God of war it’s not fun until 5 hours before the game ends. You can enjoys all the cool weapons in “new game plus” but why play that shit again

Or a game is super short and it’s like fk it let me rent Tomb Raider and knock it out this weekend

Play Mario Odessey it’s fun from the first minute until the last minute. Same with super smash brothers and Mario kart.

I also don’t have to wait 2 hours for the game to download onto my system
When I have a fking disk!!!!! Then another hour doing upgrades

How are other fighting games on PS4?

I have dragon ball Z fighterZ and it’s ok, graphically incredible but I just end up hitting the home button all the time.

Hopefully on the PS5 the home button is near the Options button so it’s not in the way

havent really played dragon ball z fighters but it looked awesome, alot of people liked it. things is the learning curve for alot of those games is quite high and i didnt want to get destroyed online so i said fuck it. might still get it later on when the price drops completely.

other good fighters ; guilty gear ; beautiful and well made. sfv is alright, gets alot of hate because of v-trigger but is still playable imo. samurai shodown is coming out this year. could be good, another one of those snk gems. they keep coming back

Got it fixed, after long hours of searching, got some port forwarding on my router, connects easily to the servers now. Getting better, the game is nice, spent 4 hours yesterday without any problems.

Yo Devious, you aren't alone on liking it!! i'm here with ya. But honestly, real shit, I was scared to open this game as it was a gift and I saw all of the reviews. I was pleasantly surprised. Since I got it on Christmas, I have had no game breaking bugs, no disconnects, literally a couple of times where the lag auto corrects itself, and no bugs that kept be from progressing.

That being said, I've loved building my base and finding awesome spots for it. I love the maps and locations to explore and find loot/junk in. I enjoy the combat and the stories given to me. (Even though no Human NPC's are in the game) Its just been so enjoyable for a game I wrote off and just about gave up on. I'm only level 18, but I want to continue playing this until I can comfortably go into a "nuked" area and not die from radiation or Scorch Beasts in two seconds.
