Yes the exit is confirmed,i only have 3 players who i would like to replace him.

Deco,there are rumours about him wanting to leave and maybe figo can convince him to come to us.

Lucho,a perfect player to play with cambiasso.

Either one of these two or just let solari play LM and Stankovic play in the middle,if stankovic still play on the left then i guess the only option would be playing pizzaro,and unless his forms changes,with him playing as a starter our midfield will get owned big time.

how bout Figo moving to CAM with Cambiasso and us getting a new winger. Figo sure has got enuf tricks to play CM and u do worry bout his agility on the wings. defensively he may be a bit suspect, but one thing even as a winger he did track back adequately.

Khaled, Cambiasso-Deco will not work. Cambiasso might have great defensive moves, but sometimes he is a defensive liability. That's why him-Veron and him-Pizarro didn't work so well.

I think we might not go for anyone would be just fine for me.We will miss Veron's talent no doubt about it but i think we can play Stan or Pizzaro in the middle with Cambiasso...This way we can hopefully see Solari and figo on the wings..

About Deco it's not something unbelievable as:
1- Chelsea has got Ballack and they have Makelele too.
2- Lampard has expressed his desire to join Barca.
3- Maybe Lampard is their best player but if they don't want to replace Makelele with Balack then Barca wouldn't mind loosing Deco.
4- I think the only club that would need Deco at present is Inter. Chelsea have Ballack, Milan has pirlo and they are chasing Gerrard. Juve is in Serie B ) and Real wouldn't enter this race.
So I hope that Chelsea sell Lampard to Barca ) !!!

i have read all the post about veron replacement and i think the perfect pick is Stephen Appiah, he already has Seria A experience from udinese brescia to juve and now doin great in fenebe in turkey...u guys can all watch him during the world cup wen Italy plays ghana..he is the captain for the ghana team and he scored one memorable goal against italia during the olympics games

This is probably the most difficult player to replace, not because of Veron skills, but because what Veron meant at Inter and what he meant was first choice "playmaker".

Playmakers ain't cheap, and good ones are even harder to find, now good ones that can fit at Inter, I wouldn't want the job of having to look for them. Also since we are most definitively playing Cambiasso as the CM, what we need it's CM with great playmaking skills and with a reasonable defensive culture.

There aren't many options out there.

Deco? He is a great option but I don't think that Barcelona will let him go, since I believe he is better than Lampard and it wouldn't be smart from Barcelona to remove Ronaldinho of his "safe ground".

Lucho González? Lucho is without a doubt a great player and he knows Cambiasso from the Argentina NT, he could come since Porto is now in a few financial difficulties.

We could also use Pizarro or Stankovic, but I think Pizarro doesn't have the figure to play as a CM, he is just too weak. About Stankovic it would be a good option, he is a fighter and on the midfield you got to fight, however if Stankovic moved to the middle Cesar would probably play on the side unless we got our hands on A. Mancini.

This will be a long summer because of the World Cup let's see if for once Inter can make the best choices (I doubt it, but I hope it).

Cesar will play instead of Solari so I see this a priority move for us, I mean not the buy itself but the problem "fixing", so I agree with you that it might not be necessary to bring anyone but it's necessary to fix this problem. Also I don't see Figo being happy on the bench.
