Like Pajo said, he lacks a bit of brain. Decent athlete and decent cross. Needs to work on his tackling, seemed to lose every 50/50 in the second half

In addition to being a shitty footballer, he gives me the impression of a fucking asshole.

Tough game. Won't judge him too harshly, I think it's obvious from what he's shown he has quality. Just needs some more confidence.

Good athlete and skilled on his feet, but ineffective and little to zero end-product.

I notice him resisting his natural flair and conservatively passing backward more often so I'd say he's developing as expected into a serie a full back. For real though, Lazaro has major upside and should keep getting chances.

Lazaro will serve a purpose over the course of the season. He’s athletic, he’ll give opposing full backs problems and be effective in games against smaller teams in the league.

But, by and large, the wing back positions desperately need investment at Inter. Not since Maicon have Inter had a right or left sided FB/WB of real quality.

I did think Cancelo would be that guy.

I thought he was alright. Aside from the defence, everyone else played shit and he wasn't as bad. Also the second half was our best by far, after he was introduced by Candreva.

Unlike Biraghi and backpassamoah this guy looks to attack and move the ball forward with more urgency more than those guys. He should definately be starting most games.

He produced the first accurate cross from our left flank in this season, but he is qualified enough to join Pereira, Ansaldi, Dilbert, Biraghi and co in Inter trash fullbacks club

I agree that he's been bad but I'd actually give some blame to Conte on this one. Lazaro ended the winter break with 3 very good performances vs Bologna, Verona, and Borussia (sub). After winter break he starts both of the Torino and Slavia matches on the bench, and how he's playing on the left side. To me, he looks very uncomfortable on the left. I'd rather play him on the right and D'Ambrosio on the left because at least you'd get some creativity from the right side. If you play D'Ambrosio on right and Lazaro on left, you get nothing.

Am I missing something? Why is he getting so much hate when Conte just threw him to the wolves playing him on the left in such a scenario? Why not just put DDA there and let this guy, who's like a rare commodity in the team (can produce something on his own), do what he does best where he's proven to?

I disagree. You've got all of Lazaro, Pereira, Ansaldi, Nagatomo and Dalbert at one level..

and then there's the Biraghi level.

I somewhat agree that Conte made inexplicable decision to put him on the left. But it was infuriating to see him out of sync with the team and failed to execute some basic football skill like controlling the ball.

I honestly won't blame Lazaro for playing poorly. He isn't getting chances he deserves which is playing in the right side. Also normally there isn't that much action going on in that side of the pitch so that Lazaro could do something. We shouldn't expect him to just run past the opponents with the ball when he's getting pressured. He isn't getting much help.

We need to address this left side problem in the market (Marcos Alonso).

People above right, I don't understand why he is playing on the left. It's very clear he can't do it. He should be on the right, not like d'ambrosio gives us anything in attack there
