i apologize if i was wrong. After posting over 5k transfer news it gets a little confusing. But i am pretty sure Inter has had non-transfer guys before and they got sold.

problem is that Carboni wont get any playing time here... With Taremi coming in, we will have 5 strikers. And we will have to get rid of Correa, or Arnautovic to make that 4.... If Inzaghi is the coach, Carboni won't play for Inter in the near future... Now, i wouldn't sell him, but with Inter you never know. Will the Dumfries sell be enough??

Even if we don't plan to have Carboni as part of the team, ideally we'd give him another year of loan in a team where he'd be a starter where his value can go up even more. Something like Soule for Juventus.

Carboni isn't gonna play for inter next year. But a good development loan and justifying his place, he could the year after for example. Plus at some point Inzaghi will leave and formations will change etc.

Carboni definitely has a specialness about him. Not saying he will explode but not smart to sell when the potential ceiling isn’t proportional to the modest to decent gains on offer.
