We missed 2 golden chances one by Adriano and the otehr by Emre the play was beautiful to get to that point but to no result in the end..

We were controlling the game for most of the half if not for 10 minutes they really got me scared and nervous...

Anyways the defence looks secure and we could have scored twice actually..Once from a beautiful effort between Emre and Stan give and go to present Adriano a too easy of a chance for his calibre and he missed it..

The other was a present from Adriano to Emre whose first touch is great but second is a weak shot on Canizares...

Fontana had a great reaction save on a ball that Divaio's head i think deflected it...

Anyway pretty good 1st half by the Nerazzurri, came close to scoring a few goals. Most impressive players so far:

Favalli: Great 1st half, did almost everything he was supposed to do.
Cambiasso: Not surprised here, Cuchu is probably our most consistent player outside Adriano.
Adriano: Made some great runs but unfortunately missed a glorious chance at putting us up 1-0.


Veron has also been solid, dictating the offense like usual. Not too impressed by Bobo though, he's been offside 5 times, though only 4 were legit.

I think we are really doing well being patient and carefull in the past and trying to hit them on several occassions...They are killing us though with their Offside trap,some calls should have also gone in our favor regarding offside but the ref is good..

I just hope Veron doesnt get into rough play because he already had a yellow card..

We had the best chances and dominated but we can´t really use that for anything, can we? Not today I mean...

Also I can´t believe Valencia didn´t receive two red cards!

Control of the game to me is the most important thing, and if we're doing that, great. But as for finishing, every shot doesn't have to be a wonder-goal, just get the ball over the line!

On another note, great to see jimmy fontana playing well at his age (38?), and maybe a down Toldo can get himself motivated.
