Resting him away against Lecce? I don't think that's such a good idea. Lecce has started the new season on fire and we need Adriano to beat them. Remember that Lecce beat us when we visit their stadium last season. We also need a Recoba magic to beat them in 01/02! I'd rather rest Adriano against Valencia and playing him in those 2 matches. But knowing Inter and Mancini, I won't be surprised that he will play in all of the next 3 matches, if he's avaliable. Not that I'm unhappy since Adriano's physic seems to be exceptional but I'm worried he'd be overused and if the trend continues, become like Raul.

Yes they have started the season well, but surely that is not going to last for much longer! Although the Lecce game is imp (just like any other league game) yet I believe they will provide us with less of a chalenge than Vlencia and Bbilan! Thats how I see it

It wouldnt surprise me either. However as you mentioned the danger is that he could break down and not be available for a while! :scared:

We shall see what Mancini has in mind.

p.s I dont want to see Ze Maria's sad face in Il Capitano's position!

Of course Adriano will play tonight.
Mancini on inter.it said:
Question: You have called up twenty-three players. Does this mean you have a lot of doubts?

Mancini: "No. Twenty-three players were called up so a few could train with us and not just in Appiano Gentile. This is especially the case for Obafemi Martins and Alvaro Recoba."

Anyone actually believes we´ll play with Vieri (who just scored his first goal) and Cruz (who hasn´t played since forever) partnership? Adriano will start, that´s for sure.

Forza Ragazzi & Go Red Sox!!!!!

And after Lecce, we play against Lazio, isn't it ? May be we should play him till the Lazio game, if he can.

But if Adriano really needs to be rested, we have no other solution but to rest him against Lecce. :(

I also think that unfortunately Adriano will not rest in this game either...I am sure that Mancini will play him but its worrying for the long run no matter how well he is doing right now...

Another reason i think he will play is that he really wants to do well on the big stage in order to win the Ballon D'Ore or whatever, and this is his moment to shine infront of a bigger audience.

Apparantly Valencia are having some problems themselves. Both Ayala and Marchena are out. Vincent is doubtful for the match. I say we go for the win so as to cement our place in the 2nd round, so we can fully concentrate on the league.

Like everybody in her i will that Adriano is resting to the match on sunday against Milan.....
Not me. And as I understand not J zanetti either. :)

Looking at our schedule I believe IF possible we should play him in both Valencia & Bbilan games!
My words exactly. ;)

And I don´t think we need to rest him against Lecce either. He is simular to Il Capitano in the sense that his fitness rocks! :strong:

So as you can see I have no worries that Adriano might "burn out". He can take it. And I´m sure he will be rested by the Boss in due time.

I don´t believe this in a million years. Definately not after reading yesterday´s interview with him. :)

I assume that you mean Vicente. Does anyone have a link on this?

What a hassle to watch one game. The place I live have cancelled the damn channel, and I thought my aunt would have it and tape it for me. But no, they had removed that channel now as well. So now I had to call an uncle who fortunately has it, but I have to bring the entire VCR to that place.

I will be so pissed if the idiots at the other channel that shows Milan-Barca reveal the result of this game or anyone in school tomorrow, after I have to go through all this hassle.

Same here, i´m afraid they will reveal it sooner or later. It would be best to not watch Milan-Barca match, but i have to since i like to see Milan get´s their ass kicked.

Probable lineups ->

Another predicted line up without Vicente, which is very good to know. Hopefully, we won't see Vicente play against Inter, coz he's one of the few players apart from Baraja and Canizares, I fear. It's not that those 3 are the only good players there (in the absence of Ayala), but those players can really make a big impact.

If Valencia does play with that kinda line up, then we should do our best to take advantage in Mestalla. What a build up match would it be, before we face the devil Milan. :fero:

I´m thinking about taping both the Milan and Inter game. You can not trust ZTV from Sweden. They are so dumb that they reveal the result of a game that another channel that is owned by the same company will show. Yeah, that will give them viewers. IDIOTS!!!!!

I also fear that the Milanisti crowd will make noises if a result comes up on the screen at San Siro.

So I wonder. Isolating myself from media from 20:30 until tomorrow after school.

I can understand where Jimmy is coming from. Yesterday I watched Gobbi - Bayern on ZTV and when Nedved scored they went ballistic and screamed: IBRAHIMOVIC!!!

Like they were the phucking Swedish national team.:rollani:

I think I like this TV station. :D

Talk about isolating oneself does bring back some memories.
Here is the story in short:

It was about 6-7 years ago. I had just moved here to London and I didnt know any place showing serie A football. :(
Inter - Juve was coming up and I just couldnt miss out on it.
So what I did was to ask my mum in Swe to tape the game. Then send it on Mon (the game was played Sat night) so I would be receiving the tape on Tue afternoon.

Therefor if you do the math I had to isolate myself from any kind of media that could reveal the result for almost 4 blody days!!

so dear Jimmy, Im sure you can manage it this time around ;)

I can isolate myself from media. The biggest problem is that I will be in school for hours tomorrow. I´ve already told my teacher to not say a word, but I´ll be phucked if someone else says anything when they never talk football in the usual case.

Centro del campo: Albelda, Fiore, Baraja, Sissoko, Rufete, Aimar.
