3.5 points away from England. It's 50/50 at this point imo, but with fucking Sampdoria still in EL odds would have been on our side :palm:

How many points does a win get the league? Is it still the same amount of points rewarded in EL & CL?
I don't think it's 50/50..yet, England is still with the advantage. Anyway, hopefully Fiorentina draws Spurs in EL and knocks 'em out again. L'pool will find a way to fuck up. I am confident Napoli will do well, Semi's atleast.

Points are divided over the number of teams originally registered to European competitions. So each win in group stages gives you 2 points. Divide that by 6 for points. So with all three Italians winning in Europa that gives 3 x 2 = 6/6 = 1 point for the coefficient.
Note it's divided by 6 as samp was originally registered.

Bare in mind also that premiership has two teams knocked out. West ham and Aston villa. So every win is divided by 8 for them.

I think we will get 4 spot for 2017/18 with the points this year. As were likely to do quite well in Europa and Arsenal are potentially going to finish last in their group with 2 games Bayern and no points for them so far.

Things are looking good.

As of right now Italy are ahead of England for the 17/18 season, although overtaking them this season isn't out of the question either

-----16/17--- 17/18--
Ita: 62.94 -- 51.58
En: 66.41 -- 51.16

If Arsenal finish bottom of their group and get knocked out, and Roma can at least finish third and then go into the EL and not choke I think there is a good chance Italy could have 4th spot back by the end of the season. Juventus continuing to do well is very important too. As much as that'll pain most of the members here.

I have no problem with them progressing through UCL and losing in the Final again, meanwhile getting wrecked in the league :)

Bottom Polish team is winning 2-0 away against the No.1 Italian team! Granted Fiorentina are not playing many starters and LCH are the reigning champions (acknowledging that they're not THAT bad) but still

Lazio have ridden their luck and are up 3-1 but they could easily be losing, while la viola are losing 0-2 to the last placed team from the Polish league:yao:

but in fairness the Polish team has only had two shots and scored both

This league has hit rock bottom. Even post-treble early on we were much better than this.

We rate teams like Napoli, Fiorentina, Roma based on their top performances, but consistency is a crucial part to being a good team. Even terrible teams can have world class performances once in a while.

The next weekend is exactly the type of opportunity Inter must seize. Fiorentina vs Roma, Chievo vs Napoli. They'll be drained. There will really be no excuses if we don't get 3 points.

Tottenham lost btw

Lech Poznan is a good team.
This is comparable to Juventus beating Man C. when Juventus was at the bottom of the Table, or Man C. were at the top. I would not believe that you did this,
:yao:,when it happened:yao:

Ekstraklasa, the point is within the fact that Lech Poznan is not a bottom side Polish team, like Juventus is not a bottom side Italian team. Also some teams are 'underrated' by fans of teams in 'larger' leagues.

Well, when Juve played City it was after 3 rounds, and the difference between England and Italy is marginal, and most would definitely say the EPL is a superior league. Whereas there probably has been around 10 games in the Polish league now, so it's definitely a more definitive indicator of how good or bad a team is. Plus, the Polish league doesn't have a particularly good reputation in Europe.

Fiorentina should have done better.

In brighter news Napoli is smashing the Danish champions. With some great goals too.

Fuckin Fiorentina. At least EPL sucked more than Italian teams. Liverpool drew and Tottenham lost.

EPL: 1 Win 2 Ties 1 Loss
Serie A: 2 Win 2 Ties 1 Loss

We aren't really doing that much better tbh... and once Chelsea gets back in the mix it'll get even tougher. Fiorentina is so fucking trash, how the hell are we letting these losers represent our country internationally -_-

All of our teams need to qualify for us to have more points this season. We can do it.

This week we Italy has collected 1 points where England has collected 0.825 points. If Fiorentina pulls itself together Italy will be fine.

English clubs doing well this round. Spurs and Fiorentina and Lazio still to play. Both Fiorentina and Lazio need to win for Italy to get the upper-hand again this round.

Another big win for Napoli today too. They're very impressive right now.
