Ruffier really fucked up for Lazio's second goal. Good goalkeeper, he shouldn't be making those kind of mistakes. Lazio's defending was poor and their attackers were far too selfish. St. Etienne also took the insane risk of attacking with 9 men and they got caught out for it.

Very good results for Italy today. Spurs draw, as did Liverpool. Dortmund drew, the other Bundesliga team lost, and all three Italian sides won. If Roma hadn't forgotten how to defend in the first half in their game this would have been a fantastic week for the coefficients.

3.5 points away from England. It's 50/50 at this point imo, but with fucking Sampdoria still in EL odds would have been on our side

Yep, I said it when Samp lost that there was a great chance they completely fucked Italy this season. Although, long term things are looking on the up as even if Italy doesn't overtake England by seasons end they could possibly get the spot back next season by overtaking England or Germany as if the Serie A sides can at least hold their own with those two leagues this season then Italy would only need to have a fairly good year next season to overtake one, if not both of them.

Also, as much as it sucks that Samp fucked up against some no name team we are partly to blame ourselves. We were one of the worst contributors to the coefficients last season, and we should never have gathered less points in the league than Samp.
