It’s a completely different Atletico to what people are used to. They play a lot more attacking nowadays, sure they can still drop back and defend if they need to but they do have a lot more goals in them than in the past.

The key thing with them is Home vs Away. They are very bad away from home so we need to win that 1st game at all costs. At home it’s a completely for them. I think they’ve won every single home game in 2023.

Overall I would say it’s a 50/50 game but have to give the slight edge to them with them playing the 2nd leg at home

It's better than City or Bayern. I'll take it.

I agree, I'd rather have Atletico then PSG.

FC Porto - Arsenal
Napoli - FC Barcelona
Paris Saint-Germain
- Real Sociedad
Internazionale - Atlético Madrid
PSV - Borussia Dortmund - ? (I really don't know)
Lazio - Bayern München
FC Kopenhagen - Manchester City
RB Leipzig - Real Madrid

These are my predictions - Inter will make it against Atlético, but it will be a hard fought game. Inter have shown enough character and fighting spirit so far to challenge a team like Atlético.
Wouldn't say Sociedad has no chance against PSG, I don't see PSG steamrolling them.

Leipzig might also be a tough cookie for Real.

well, if we finished first we would play PSG.
Not necessarily because the percentages aren't the same, but yeah very unlucky for them. The countries that have multiple clubs coming out of the groups make the draws a mathematical problem :)

I would rather play PSG than Atletico, but okay, it is what it is. While Real Sociedad would be a better fit for Atletico than PSG. I will be cheering for them.

I don't know in what conditions they will be in February, but if they meet today, Sociedad can beat PSG. I hope they come out as winners so that Milan fans can eat their shit for labeling our group as a EL teams.
