To be more clear, Liverpool is able to knock out any team. Though your point regarding luck of Liverpool is lame. Barca was knocked out because they deserved to be out, and since you mentioned luck, well that is part of winning anyways.

Liverpool are playing better yhis season, they have Van Dijk for the full seasons and an actual goalkeeper. In last year's final 2 goals were gifted by Karius.

If you use our logic Barca has no chance as they were exposed by Roma in 1 game.

Well, Roma has been rubbish this season so far. Luckily their group seems to be easy on paper at least, otherwise if they would have another top team in their group instead of one between Plzen/CSKA, they would stand no chance IMO.

Liverpool can go head to head with anyone. They have a better bench now and a good keeper. Also they have a system in which even if salah is missing they are still good. Their defense is just above average but they have solid wing backs that can attack. I wonder what Liverpool vs RuBe would be like. RuBe and atlético Madrid might be the only teams that might be able to contain their attack power tbh.
