It's always something on FIF. First Robben and Ribery aren't world class, then Mbappe and De Gea are hugely overrated, and Klopp and Pochettino aren't doing good enough.

For everybody in the world of football outside of football fans it's clear that Poch and Klopp are doing great and that we should give them props. People laughing at Wenger being fourth are the same that will now shit on Poch even tho it's been clear for more than just this season that he helped get Spurs on a another level.

Shame about that early penalty. The game would have been very different without it.

I agree with you, except for the part about this being exclusive to FIF. I frequent many forums and there are always certain users not giving enough credit to coaches because they haven't won a specific trophy.

Imagine being a coach of a team that was second tier at best for most of the last 20 years, bring it to the next level, but people shit on you because you aren't 5/5 in trophies. All that good work just so random people take a dump on it.

I guess FIF isn't exclusive to this, true.

Coaches at top teams are appointed to win trophies. It's simple as that. If you fail to do it, you're just not good enough.

Spalletti is a decent coach, I'm very grateful that he at least was able to get us back consistently to participate in the CL. Yet, he wasn't even able to play a Coppa final. Nothing.

The champions league should actually be a league where everyone has to play each other, that would make it more fair.

since we placed 4th does that mean we get placed in that shitty seed again? where we can be placed into the group of death again

the position in the league doesn't count unless you win it, in which case we would have been in pot 1. this time we are in pot 3 anyway.

Seeding is based on club performance in Europe, there is no relation with previous season's ranking in the league.

Unfortunately the difference between pot 4 and 3 is minimal. Either way the teams in Pot 1 and 2 (aside from the Russians Portuguese) are strong and will top the groups.

No I think people are doing that because he isn't getting 1/5. Poch hasn't won anything with Tottenham. Don't get me wrong I think he's a great manager. But I feel the carling cup or whatever they call it at the very least should have been won in the last few years.

Winning league cup changes nothing. You have to see the manager's work and rate him based on that. When he manages the team that has potential to win trophies, then he will win bigger trophies than just league cup. Look at Sarri, 1 season at Chelsea and he has won Europa league. Enrique didn't win anything and won bunch of trophies when he managed Barca.

Poch took the team that was 5th/6th in the league and made them regular top 3/4 team and that with very negligible spending.

Best case scenario is probably: Zenit, Porto, Inter & Brugge.

Meh, other than a freshly reinvested Madrid team I'm not too worried about Pot 2 teams. We had a hard group last season and it made us step up in those games.

If there is a group of death, we'll be part of it.

It would actually be better to have Chelsea (who are the second weakest in pot 1) in our group because that would exclude Tottenham being drawn from pot 2.

Time for us to get some dope players and hope we don't get Borussia Dortmund or Real Madrid in POT 2.

tbf Lyon and Bayer are both good team and Valencia proved this season that they can get draws for days

Let's hope we get Chelsea from Pot 1 and anyone but the Spanish teams from Pot 2.
