Galatasaray lost the derby against Fenerbahce AT HOME in the last 15 MINUTES; 1-2. This win for Fener will probably make them clinch the title this season.

Trabzonspor has become the new leader of the league, Fenerbahce chasing behind with only 2 points. Besiktas and Galatasaray keeps losing. Galatasaray won't join European Cups next season and Besiktas must win the Turkish Cup to be able to participate in Europa League.

So we kinda guaranteed our Turkish Cup Finals ticket and we will face Istanbul Buyuksehir Belediyesi in the final if my expectations are right. Only 1 more game left for Europa League ticket. It's a shame to be in this position but... What to do other than hoping for a brighter future.

Besiktas becomes the Turkish Cup Winner of 2010/2011 season.

We won the final game after penalty shoot-out against Istanbul Buyuksehir Belediyespor (only team who could beat us twice in league this season).

Normal time ended 2-2. Quaresma and Sivok scored our goals with Manuel Fernandes' 2 assists.

Ricardo Quaresma wore the Besiktas captain-armband first time this game (when Guti subbed off), i hope he keeps wearing it until his retirement.



Ricardo Quaresma also has been selected as Most Valuable Player.

Sporting Lisbon's 20m € offer has been rejected and our club declared on our official website that we have no intention of selling Quaresma. Q7 doesn't want to go anywhere as well, so no, it's not going to happen.

Hopefully you keep him and bring in more reinforcements so that you can push for the title

Congratulations to Fenerbahce, leader of Turkish Super League 2010/2011 season.


Even though they were at same points with Trabzonspor, they earned the Championship because of the games played among themselves:

There are many discussions about Fenerbahce, saying that they did some kind of bribing and such, like Milan and Juve did. And actually they really scored very very interesting goals because of goal keepers and defence, they could even get 3-0 lead in 20minutes with 3 penalties in a game. Their chairman Aziz Yildirim has seen arguing with referees in half times of games and surprisingly Fenerbahce could always win those games.

However, Fenerbahce got 17 wins in their last 18 games (1draw only). They conceded no goals at all at home in second leg of the league. (9 games, European Record) So no matter how much cheat involved, they are the most succesful club in this league so i can't really say they didn't deserve it. Congratulations.
