BRANCA: "FOCUSED SOLELY ON THE CUP"
APPIANO GENTILE - Lots of rumours and theories, and a long list of names. But in reality no arrivals and no departures, because as technical director Marco Branca said to Inter Channel, "we're focused solely on this two-legged cup final and I also want the players to be".
"It's normal for the newspapers and televisions to talk about the transfer market at the moment because for the other teams the season has finished, but we have the Coppa Italia final and it's right to put off everything else until after the two matches against Roma," explained Branca.
"We must stay focused on our objective and focus all our energies in this direction only. To reach our goal we need enthusiasm, desire and character. The Coppa Italia final is very important for us to show our worth to the club and the fans. We must never lose the chance to confirm once again the level we have reached. It's true that we have had a few injuries too many, but we mustn't think about this. We must stay focused on our main objective."
The Nerazzurri technical director added: "The 2005 transfer market won't be any different from the last two years, during which we have often said, and above all showed with the facts, that we are paying great attention to economic aspects. That's without forgetting the technical and professional values that the team has shown, and without excluding the possibility of several well-made interventions to improve even more."
