Javier Zanetti, why to buy two new central defenders(also new to serie A, always a risk!!) and put cordoba to wrong place. We'll buy new CD to partner with Cafe and maybe new lb. Maybe..
Is it a risk ? I think experience is overrated , Legrottaglie was not new to the Serie A on the other side there's Kaka who was very young and came from another continent and look how they performed.

Cordoba has already played as LB under Cuper ,and would be an ideal solution because good LBs are harder to find than centre backs.

Hamed, Can I just finish off by saying. How many clubs has Recoba been at outside Uruguay?A cursed Inter with too many talents and coaches bar a half season at Venezia now doesn't it seem wierd to you that he can go from a bench/2nd team player to arguably the best player in SerieA in a shitty relegation team? Ofcourse I can bring up Venezia because its not like he left Inter for anywhere else he is still at Inter and still unappreciated.

And the hunger wasn't there because of Venezia, He scored 3 wondergoals in 45 minutes of the only football he played in first season at Inter like I said Its always there but he shows it in a different way to just running all day. You know this is called football now ofcourse running is needed but Baggio Recoba's make up for it with their genius. Recoba at 25 I would take anyday over the superconsistent Ronaldinho or Zidane at the same age.

How can you say he is not living up to expectations when he has had only 7 starts this season and has 6 goals 8 assists in 1100 minutes of play. Last season he had the best minute per goal ratio 11 goals in 1500minutes.

I think its more of a case of Recoba not getting minutes a player of his ability is expected to get.

Alright, that's the last Recoba talk in this topic. Let's talk about rumours of Recoba leaving Inter in this topic. If you wanna talk about how great or inconsistent he is, move it to the Recoba topic in the Players & Coaches forum. Thank you.

Frey confirms Parma exit Friday 4 March, 2005

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Parma ‘keeper Sebastien Frey has confirmed that this will be his last season at the Stadio Tardini.

Although the Frenchman still has two years left to run on his contract, he’s eager for a new challenge.

"I’m happy at Parma and my deal doesn’t expire until 2007, but I want to go and try an important experience elsewhere," he told the Gazzetta dello Sport. "I think I deserve it."

Frey is one of the most highly-rated shot-stoppers in Europe, with speculation suggesting that Inter, Arsenal and Manchester United are very keen on his services.

The 25-year-old was brought to Italy in 1998 by Inter, before being sold in 2001 following the arrival of Francesco Toldo.

Yet Frey admits that he would be keen on a return to the club even if he does have some doubts.

"I still have a house in Como and my wife is an Inter fan," he continued. "It would be great to go back as I was young and immature back then.

"But it is difficult just even thinking about it. I continually see the problems that Toldo is having by being jeered as soon as he makes a mistake.

"I do have a little bit of fear about it because I wouldn’t want to find myself in the middle of any controversy."

However, Frey concedes that he would prefer to stay in Italy rather than move to the Premiership.

"The English idea is exciting but I’ve developed an affection for Italy," he noted

He is already afaid of the jeers even before he comes. We need a goalie with a nerve made of steel, not this guy. And stop saying you were immature back then, just admit you made a mistake and apologize.

I liked the fact that his wife is in an inter fan. Does this mean he wants to anger her by always playing good against us? I ain't no psychotherpaist, but I see problems. :)

Why don't he simply admit that he's just afraid of being jeered after his comments when he exited Inter? :rollani: Shows you how much b@lls he has!

I don't believe next Inter's calciomercato also. another just many players changing. there is no plan.

"INTER ALWAYS HELP FOR BILAN'S GRORY." IT'S TRUE.

Nesta,Pirlo,Crespo. especailly Nesta. Nesta case really huge hurt. next Emre?

Moratti self wasted huge chance. get great champion players and grory.

-look at this-

Bilan: in- almost Gilardino,Jankulovski. try Ronaldinho/Totti. out- Tomasson, Pippo, Kaladze, Brocchi.

Inter? in- almost Luizao,J.Cesar. try Kompany,Di Vaio,Fiore,Cesar and another just good players shopping. out- Adriano? ,Davids, Emre, Toldo, Recoba,Kily,VDM

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Always we talk about Inter's great calciomercato job. but result is same. just many player change. no plan, no get great cahmpion. even sell our super stars.

I SCARE!! INTER ALSO BECOME LIKE LAZIO and PARMA or JUST NEWSMAKER CLUB.

HEY INTER BOARD!! PLEASE STOP HELPING BILAN'S GRORY.

I think we bough Cristiano Zanetti instead of Nesta, and when Lazio wanted C. Zanetti in exchange for Nesta, Cuper rejected or something. Whatever happened, it was a bad decision. :(

Cuper didn't want to give dalmat or cz as part of the deal which lazio wanted. Others say gilliani threatend to releagate lazio to serie b if they sold nesta to us.

Nobody really knows the truth.

I just don't see any sense moving Cafe to left. Coco or Favalli are very near to out of position Cordoba in their natural position.

I agree with you completely, Cordoba is the only outstanding central defender we have, moving him to the left would be a capital sin.

Inter After Di Vaio
3/4/2005 12:39:00 PM
The Nerazzurri were close to sign the Italian striker this past summer before the former Juve player moved to Valencia.
Marco Di Vaio’s first season at the Spanish club did not go as well as expected and with the recent sacking of Claudio Ranieri, his future in Valencia seems highly in doubt.

The striker has many suitors back in Italy, first of which Inter who could have signed Di Vaio last summer in the Vieri exchange deal with the Bianconeri before the negotiations fell through.

With Cruz, Recoba and probably even Adriano, all set to leave Inter in summer, the Nerazurri are searching for the players to substitute them, with Di Vaio being on top of Roberto Mancini’s wish list.

Hmm. Cruz and Chino out. Di Vaio in. What about Bobo?

Adriano
Martins
Di Vaio
Vieri/Cruz

Not bad.

Nayh, we don't need Di Vaio. Just Recoba out in the summer, and it would be Martins, Adriano, Vieri and Cruz. Julio is a good back-up striker. Di Vaio would be too expensive though his value isn't the same as last summer (~13m€).

If we sell Cruz and Recoba, and the money acquired is enough to get Di Vaio, then I don't see why not. He's a good striker, IMO. But that is only if we do not spend too much on him.

I'd much rather keep Vieri and Cruz, but I don't think Julio will stay, he needs to play.

So I wouldn't mind Di Vaio, I'm not crazy about him but he's ok I guess.

Hmn, you're right, Cruz is better when he's playing more. But so is Di Vaio, hasn't been so good at Valencia now when he's been playing as a sub (though hasn't convinced at all so far there). But what I mean is that he's too profilic for a fourth striker role.

IMO Di Vaio was great in Juve as Trez' back-up.
