unfortunately, i cannot help you much with that. i don't know san siro very well. as far as i know, the 2° (written "secondo") anello rosso and the 2° anello arancio are good options, both for visibility and for going with your family.

thank you for this information. can i ask which stand you reccomend sitting in if i am with my wife? which colour coding do i ask for? i want to avoid curva nord for obvious reasons

First ring red or orange. Orange is cheaper and the atmosphere is better than the red.

of course that also depends on how much one can spend. first is closer to the pitch, so of course the view is better.

Well the closer to pitch doesn't guarantee better view actually. Red zone you need to sit row 6 or above because of that bloody stupid fence. I usually sit row 6 or 7 to get a clear view of the pitch. The orange side is closer to the pitch than the red zone but the first few rows will get blocked by fence also.

I just got tickets for the derby and will be seated in the curva nord section. This is my first trip to giuseppe meazza. Any suggestions, do and donts. Also, did anyone experience being seated there?

ill be seated in block 248 Row 6 along two of my friends who are not inter supporters. Is that a good place ?

I think it´s OK, but they probably expect you to sing, at least when it´s derby. Also there´s a lot of racists in CN so you should be aware of that given that your nationality is correct..

Just get in touch with the club if you're having problems with the tickets.

If you notice, the original fixtures are always scheduled on Sunday, then moved. Easter weekend they're originally scheduled for the Saturday. Everything will be open Saturday. Sunday there's a big Easter parade in the city centre that's worth seeing. The further out of the city you go on Sunday, the more chance there is if things being closed. You won't starve though, as bars and restaurants will be open. Monday is a holiday and almost everywhere will be shut.

Just let me know if you want any tips on being in Milan.

Thank you so much for sharing this. I'll be attending the derby for the first time along with my brother. We'll be taking the train from Sweden down to Milano to enjoy the landscape and such. We've been planning a few events as we'll be in the city from Wednesday the 12th to Monday the 17th, but do you have any personal tips that you can highlight for a 5-day stay in Milan?

No worries! In Milan itself I would spend a day or two seeing the Duomo (Cathedral - go up onto the roof, you can see the whole City and get a perspective on how big the stadium is); walk up to to the Castle and see the museum's if you fancy; the art gallery is good; Ferrari shop, go on the simulator and race the Monza track; the last supper is cool, buy you need to book it now; have lunch at Botinero, Zanetti's restaurant; have apperitivo (cocktail with free food, 6.30-9.00 usually) down the canal (Navigli) and probably another night in Brera. The stadium your isn't great in comparison to others but still do it.

I would also have a day up in the lakes. Como is closest and very cheap and easy to get to.

Hope this helps, but let me know if there's anything else I can help with. Enjoy the trip!

The tickets just arrived for the derby match and one of the tickets have a wrong date of birth in it.. the date of birth is 04/04/1992 in the ticket however the actual date of birth as shown in the ID is 04/02/1992 .. However I do have the receipt and the name is correct... Is that fine or will I have trouble entering the match?

Since your in the curva and its a derby i would double check with the seller.
If it was any normal serie a match and you would be sitting anywhere else in the stadium you would be fine.

It depends where you are at the curva. Groups as Brianza or Ultras are more neutral. The more you go go the right side (Viking/IRR) are at bit harder. Though the IRR have a good group of singers. Not that many but really active. If you don't know most of the chants, you better go at the top of the tier (where you find smaller groups such as Bulldog or Pit Bull) this is a bit more quite zone.

I will be going to Inter vs Napoli game, I will buy the tickets directly from inter.it, if money isn't an issue what are the best seats?
how's the view from RED Poltroncina Area P or R (first tier) is it too close to the pitch and the view isn't good? even if I get the 10th row in these sections?
Cause the 2nd tier long side isn't available in inter.it..

For the derby, any areas of Milan where you shouldn't wear an inter jersey or anything? Or is it generally ok? I'm staying in a residential apartment through Airbnb and dont want to get bricked for wearing an inter jersey. just wondering if i will need a neutral jacket to wear to cover jersey

Milano isn't really a football city. Shouldnt be a problem.

Thanks, living in NI if you walk into the wrong area with the wrong football top on it could be the last place you ever walk too. Was just curious if Milan was similar.

Haha you should not have a problem I even went to the milanello training ground with my Inter shirt on. In case you wonder why my aunt lives like 15mins away and she was like no go take a look at it it s very nice and there should be nobody today. Little did she know that it was the day of Rivaldos first training at Milanello so there were a shit ton of people. But other then a lot of very weird looks nothing happened, it also has to be said that i was like 13 so maybe now they would say something. But even to my dad they made like one or two stupid comments and that was it.

So like firmino already said you wont have a problem in milano wearing an inter shirt you might have to listen to a couple of stupid comments but thats it.

When you're in the city of Milano, you would't say that. If you're in Rome for example there are real Roma or Lazio regions. You can find graffiti and stickers from both clubs evrerywhere. That's not the case in Milano as the city is much more business-minded.
