It isn't helping that but it's helping the players to have a better chance at Inter.

Dimarco didn't break into our first team until he was 25.
he could have started to play earlier had our then coaches not preferred the likes of Dalbert, Asamoah, etc over him.

You don't know how ready he was back then.
But you knew the other two's abilities and could have at least tried to see if the youngster can do better. That's a standard practice pretty much everywhere, nothing out of this world.

By making domestic football less competitive. Doesn’t help us either

I am getting lost, are we still talking about the benefit of the Inter restructure and organising an U23 side was we have a conveyor belt of talent always coming through to improve their changes of first team football?

Or do we realise still nothing and the loan will be called in about 100 days give or take?

Suning/Zhang have no leverage, I dont see how this ends well for them.

Browse back few pages, there should be enough stuff.

The Oaktree deal isn't as bad for Zhangs as originally thought, and like Il Fenomeno said, Oaktree has no interest owning Inter and as they probably haven't found a buyer with a good enough offer, they rather continue with the Zhangs. So some kind of refinancing with them or agreement that it will continue (and refinancing done by other 3rd party).

100 days, they wont do shit.

All this should be sorted. Has Oaktree confirm they have no interest in owning Inter? I havent seen any article posting such a thing.

An extension doesn't really take that long. This isn't that complicated. And no, Oaktree doesn't want to operate a football club. They don't want their capital back either. Trust me. And even if they did why would you expect them to make a public statement about it? These are private entities. In fact this thing could have been restructured a long time ago and they wouldn't really have any obligation to tell you about it.

Oaktree is public trading company, meaning what they do with their capital and the risk of the lending capital has to be reportable otherwise you would not be able to be traded on the open market.

They would be reporting it some form or fashion.

"Inter Milan owners Suning are reportedly willing to raise the interest rate if it means pushing back the deadline to repay the Oaktree loan.

This issue has been a looming shadow over the club in the past months, as the ownership’s future remains uncertain.

In May 2021, Suning took a loan worth 275 million euros from US-based investment group Oaktree Capital.

The Chinese company must repay the full amount in addition to its interest rate by the 20th of May 2024.

With time running out, Inter president Steven Zhang has been searching for a solution that prevents him from relinquishing his company’s majority shares in the club.

While refinancing the debt remains a suggestion, the Chinese businessman is now seeking to postpone the deadline, as we reported yesterday.
Suning are willing to accept a higher interest rate as they look to convince Oaktree to delay the expiry date.

The source believes that the club’s owners feel they have the means to cover all additional expenses if given time.

That’s mainly because the club’s incomes are on the rise.

As the report tells it, Inter collected 100 million euros from UEFA prize money alone in 2022/23. This season, they have already guaranteed 63M after reaching the competition’s Round of 16.

The Nerazzurri can also count on another 80 million this season from domestic matchday income.

Moreover, the Serie A giants should earn around 60 million from their participation in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

On top of that, Suning have yet to use 100M from the 275M sum lent from Oaktree."

In the UK – Zilliacus, formal offer of 1.2 billion pounds for Inter. US investors behind him.

According to Manchester Evening News, the Finnish entrepreneur has formally presented an offer to Steven Zhang

I don't believe Zilliacus has disclosed that number to Manchester Evening News. I mean, I've read the interview and the number wasn't quoted to him.
