Someone help me out here, simplified as much as possible please.

Keep seeing cards, or players for example Ronaldo R9 sold for like 10m on ps4/5 or something? Skriniar sold for 450k or something like etc.. people proper buzzing over it... You pay for packs (real money I assume) or have to play endless hours to obtain "coins" and get packs for free? Right so my question is, who cares if you get a legend card worth 4m? Like whats the buzz about it, what do you actually own? You can trade said card for more packs/other cards and make your team? Is that it?

I just don't get it/understand it. If someone replies FUT please tell me what this means too please.

You can get packs by playing you ll get rewards or you can buy Fifa coins with real money and then buy the packs with the coins.

And basically yes you can sell that card in your example for 4 mio coins and then build your own squad with that money. Like theres a transfermarket where you can buy other cards(players).

Basically, or atleast thats what you can do...... You can also just play and earn your way to a good team but that can be very fucking frustrating

FUT is a complete gold mine for EA. It triggers dopamine releases equivalent to that of gambling. I believe the EU sued them to force them to publish the odds the virtual packs contain.

When they program first launched they would have standard cards, and then special merit-based performance bonuses. They realized that people will pay big money to get their favorite players with jacked stats, so they switched to a model where they pump out every card possible. They'll take a player who has been out of form for years, like Icardi, and release a 95 overall version of him. They'll call it a "throwback." It should be called a cash grab.

Hey guyz, this year i started with autobuyer, and with that plus other investments, i already have Mbappe + 2millions more to create the team. If i don't want to play more i can actually sell the whole acc for 300 / 400€
I recommend autobuyer, max u get is a soft-ban for 1h, and only sometimes.

I don't even play FUT because skill is not that important there and that bothers me, I don't wanna play against a team that has Mbappe, CR7 and Lewandovski almost every match while I have players I don't really know. Seasons is where I do most of my playing, got my Wolves/Inter/France team in FIFA21.

EA is not the only greedy company out there, but they are still one of the greediest. The gaming industry brings in more money than the movie industry and I'm sure people falling for FUT, Sims add-on DLCs and similar bs helps.

It's gonna be a while until people stop calling it FIFA, remember people still called it winning eleven even though the name was changed to pes. I agree though, it's a shitty name
