Living here is weird, with the constant nonsense on all fronts including the weather. Hell, I even got calls from a couple schools districts wanting to know if I was interested in teaching both were close to 100 miles away, due staffing shortages.

Update: Videos denying climate science approved by Florida Education Department to be taught in schools.

Teaching standards are so bad these days that I have no doubt I could qualify to teach in this state.

At the same time, with Pudding Fingers and his Einsatzgruppen he's got appointed, and the blatant lies he wants to teach children, there is absolutely zero chance I will ever have interest in being a teacher in Florida. I would get fired on the first day, either because I'd step outside the curriculum, because some child would innocently tell their parents something I told during class that would offend their DeShitstained ears...maybe it would be the sign saying "F*ck DeSantis" in the corner of the room where my desk would be.

Speaking of weird things in Florida, i found it a bit weird when i had visited Florida the fact there were so many gun shops in the area especially considering it was a small college city. But i realise it's a cultural difference and in US it's considered perfectly normal. No disrespect to Florida FIF members or even Americans in general. For a European, it was just quite a shock that you could buy a gun as easy as buy groceries from a supermarket.

Speaking of which, it's the time of the year again where I'm about to go outside and experience some of the hurricane for myself. I have rain gear, so I might as well use it.

The hurricane is tracking well to the west of the Tampa Bay area, so we're getting rind and wain but nothing that should be devastating.

Hello to my Balkan friends. I know card game bilote is pretty popular there. Have you guys tried with 2 players? I f I remember correctly, 32 cards, without 6s.
8 cards deal with closed face, the same 8 cards closed to dealer. Then open 8 cards on top of 8 closed cards and 8 open cards on top of dealer's closed card. I don't remember exactly how we designate trump suite on the first round. i know the secund round deal. I forgot about the first round.

Is it the first dealed open card automatically became trump suite( kozir)?

Thanks, I remembered how it is with 2 players. 16 closed cards for both and 16 open cards on top of the closed ones. Kozir is the first opened card. If it is declined by both players, one of the players will designate the kozir. the rest are the same, terz, 50, 100, Blot, Re Blot, 4 kinds. I used to play a lot with my uncles back in the day. Now I want to play with my father-in-law or with my daughter. sometimes, human contact stiil better than playing chess online.
