Trust me nobody in the business world is licking their lips unless they have no clue whats coming.
As pimpin said us companies are over indebted unless the us jumps in and bails em all out this is gonna get nasty.
If you wanna see just how nasty go look at china.......
Big box stores make a lot of revenue ATM due to complete idiots stacking up canned goods and toilletpaper. But those goods wot turn bad so most consumers covered their needs for the next couple of weeks. Think about it did people really increase their spendings on TP and on canned goods? or did they simply pull their spending forward? And after the initiall run even those stores will seem empty.
Again if you go look at italy even big box stores are struggling with sales. Remember the real effects of this loss of income and loss of jobs and defaults will only start to show up a couple of weeks months down the road.
It s a domino effect and atm it looks like most governments and central banks have to throw in their whole weight for credit markets not to collapse.

Like in terms of financial stability and safety the us market is a shit show and it s gonna show. We had a president for the last 3 years whos only intrest it was to pump up equity market with no regards to the consequences and we re gonna see em now.

Italy handled this in the dumbest way possible. You have an aging population, and instead of isolating people over 70 who are mostly retired, they let it get out of hand, and then they overreact by shutting down everything for everyone.

Quarantining an entire population is an impossible task, but quarantining a section of the population that doesn't work, is super easy, and should have been done Day 1.
