The Sopranos is awesome. Just downloaded and watched whole seasons last month. Many tv series has ended their season, so i have time to watch a new series.

@Han, if you intend to download them, not buy the dvd, you can contact me. I can send you the dvd of rip episodes, as Indonesian internet connection is suck.

Any tv series recommendation guys? as many are on holiday atm. I watched House, Heroes (not so good lately), Lost, Two and a Half Men, The Big Bang Theory, Smallville (just coz i've watched many seasons before, do not want to end it atm), Supernatural, Dexter, Family Guy and Criminal Minds.

How about 30 rocks? is it good?

I enjoy tv series a lot, more than movies. :p

Barbas, where are you from exactly? :)

It's OK, I usually leave the download overnight and I can complete a season in 2 nights maybe.

Fringe is the ultimate shit, amazing show. Its been averaging a good amount of viewers so i doubt its going anywhere for at least 2 seasons.

It's tagline is "Seinfeld on crack."

I really cannot compare it to any other show...you just have to watch it and make your own comparisons...you will not be disappointed. Honestly the funniest show I have ever seen!

I would definately say Curb Your Enthuthiasm Luka only 100X on crack. Show is my favorite comedy show of all time, you have to see it.

Edit: Its not the show's tageline per say but thats what reviewers branded it as.

I'm asking, cause I don't watch comedies that are based on languauge nuances, and american type of comedy, that base on stories of american celebrities.

Seingeld is kind of a show like that yes ?

Well essentially...IASIP is kinda like Curb Your Enthusiasm and CYE is kinda like Seinfeld...so there are similarities even though I think IASIP is quite different than any other show...

Luka, what do you have to lose? 30 minutes? Check it out on Hulu!

For this type of comedies you have to be fluent in english, and also live there for couple of years at least. My friend who lived in US for 10 years loved Seinfeld.

Knowing English well probably does make it a better experience...

Luka you haven't seen Sienfeld??? It's the greatest comedy every written, and I don't think you need an understanding of American Culture for it. I'd say you have to watch Sienfeld as it's a pure classic, before you get around to Curb or Always Sunny.

Yeah, Seinfeld is great. Don't think there has ever been a funnier show on television. The first few seasons weren't hysterical but after they found the recipe the show really took off.

The secret to the show is that they use so many different "plants" (it's what we call it in the industry :D) that in turn affect the other characters on the show.

For instance Kramer shootin golfballs into the sea, which in turn makes a whale choke on one of the golfballs, and get beached, which in turn forces George, who's pretending to be a marinebiologist to impress girl, to march fearlessly to the whale to try to save it's life. I mean who would come up with something like that? It's brilliant really.

Hmm, I found the first few seasons to be MUCH funnier than the latter ones. To me, most episode after 95-96 weren't hilarious and the last two seasons were painful to watch (compard to earlier seasons.)

But I get what Luka is saying. When I first moved to Canada, I had no freaking idea what most jokes in Seinfeld meant, you need a bit of understanding of North American culture and lingo to fully grasp it.
