Problem is, i already finished writing diploma thesis that i will defend only in October-November. My job contract with Statoil (Hey, Forza_Ragazzi) will begin in mid-June. MMOs i am waiting will be out in mid-June, early July. So, I'm just BOREDDDDDDDDDD. Can't go back from Istanbul to Baku, because still discussing my thesis with leading professor.

I'm just finishing off the first season of Fringe now. Fantastic. It's like X-Files reloaded.

Big Bang Theory is a good show, but it's even better if you're a geek. I love it

I gotta admit I haven't watched House regularly. The few episodes I caught on TV I enjoyed. But I need time to go back and watch everything from season 1, and right now there are too many shows in the waiting list!

I have to be honest, I've watched 1st episode of Fringe and I stopped there. It reminded nothing like X-Files, when it comes to mood. Unless it rolls on later, but the first impression is very important for me.

X-Files had a team of two investigating weird paranormal stuff in each episode while a greater conspiracy was going on.

Fringe has a more dynamic team which you saw in the first episode investigate weird paranormal stuff in each episode while a greater conspiracy is going on.

But X-Files was a more mature show which had better writing. Fringe has more action and thrills. I agree that the mood for both is very different.

The X-Files is a classic and way better, but let's see if Fringe survives for even close to another 8 seasons like X-Files did.

I have a method that I use for some time now.

To prevent myself from watching a show that is canceled very quickly, I usually wait 2, 3 seasons, unless it is something certain that will be hit, like with Lost, or the new show that will come in it's place seems very interesting.

What will com in its place? Also Lost was never going to ever get canceled. This method also isnt that good since there are alot of great shows that dont get past 1 or 2 seasons.

There will be a new show about some future events, when everybody see a glimpse of what will happen in 6 months, if I remember correctly.

As for my method, obviously there are shows that are good and short like Jeronimo for example, but I don't have time to watch everything nowadays, and the ones I want to watch I would like to stick around for more than a year or two, so it is a good method for me.

ps. I heard the dude who created the show and came back ditched the producers again.

Well Heroes is a good show, in the US it lost viewers but it has a stong appeal worldwide. I think the next seaon will last but i am not sure if they will renew it after the next season.

My guess it it will not reach the finale. I thought it is 50/50 with the creator back, but when he ditched the show again I don't think it has much hope.

Heroes is crap and the only reason it's still on is because it's got loyal popcorn fans. :blind: I still watch it though, just because I'm someone who can never stop half-way at what he's doing.

Might watch Fringe after Ehsan endorse it. :| The Sopranos first though.

As for Herose, I used to watch it fast-forward, but last year even that was too long
