Saying Conte is a hard worker and that he wants to work with him for life is just nice words to “protect” Conte’s fragile heart. Conte is misunderstood it’s not about Vidal, he just wants to be loved...

Conte has been praised everywhere to be an extremely hard worker so I can believe that.

But I can't imagine anyone would want to work with a pain in the ass that is Conte for life

Well, i am sure Zhang does not work directly with Conte. So of course he can say want to work with Conte for life. Its marotta that has to deal with and take whatever complain from Conte :eek:blivious:

Hey Zhang, hopefully you'll learn your lesson and never hire Rube cunts again. Both Rube cunts costed us a shit load of money and we're still a joke in Europe

Well he seems to be smoking some good shit as he sees it differently from us :)

Zhang: 'Inter strive to play our best'

Inter President Steven Zhang says 'a consistent club and financial results are the key’ and believes the Nerazzurri have proved they ‘can compete at the top’.

The Beneamata ended second in Serie A, reached the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia and finished runners-up in the Europa League last term and Zhang said he’s happy with the group he has created at Pinetina.

“We must try to win, or in any case strive to play our best,” Zhang told SportLab. “We need a consistent club, financial results and an excellent organisation.

“Making those who watchy us happy and bring positive energy through our results on the pitch and financially are the keys.

“This has been our job for the past three years and it will be for the next 10, 20 years, maybe forever.

We have shown the world that we have the ability to compete at the highest level. I’m happy to have put together a group of people inside and outside the dressing room who believe in the project.

“Everyone must work together to achieve this, everyone know that’s the target.”

> I find this extremely irrittating to be saying this after year in & out we are unable to qualify from the group stages of UCL. How is that highest level? :chan:

He`s on the way of becoming THE clown president with these kind of statements :joker:

You missed the part where he said he's in favour of a super league too!

We need a ruthless owner like Elliot. Suning is too tolerant of mediocracy. I really hope they man up soon.

Inter president Steven Zhang has told club management that none of the club’s big players will be allowed to leave on loan in January nor will any of them be allowed to leave for a discounted price according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Radja Nainggolan and Christian Eriksen were both players who were subject to interest late on in the Summer transfer window.

Nainggolan was wanted by Cagliari, who were wanting to get a discount on him, just like Paris Saint-Germain, Bayer Leverkusen and Hertha Berlin wanted a discount for Eriksen.

Inter refused all offers in the end and in the time since the transfer window closed, both Nainggolan and Eriksen have continued to be linked with moves away.

The report goes on to conclude by adding that Inter president Zhang’s veto does not just apply to both Nainggolan and Eriksen, but everyone at the club.
Could be just an internal ploy to try keep prices up and sell accordingly. Time will tell.

I'm wondering what it'd take in order for him to sack conte? Conte will be disgustingly expensive to sack but if he doesn't deliver and keeps dropping points, will the management even consider sacking him? I really wish we could sack him now so no more damages will be done.

I don't think we can. Even if we get Spalletti off our payroll we just can't afford to pay 10+ million, a new manager, AND take losses due to covid all at once. We're just going to have to ride the wave this season.

If we make a kickstarter to hire another coach does that comply with FFP? I'd kick in 20 bucks.

I don't think so. Unless he wins Scudetto :)lol:) he will be gone after the end of the season. Sadly they will probably stick with him unless top 4 is in jeopardy simply because they can't afford to fire him.

I generally like Marotta but he fucked it up in the coach situation. Giving 34m net for 3 years to Conte was madness. It was always obvious if it doesn't work you're stuck with him. And the fact he offered such figures to someone he had already worked with and is known for creating drama wherever he goes makes it even worse.

Honestly, if we fail to advance from the CL group I'd bring Spalletti back.

He'll have his Radja, his Perisic, his Vecino... he can at the worst lead us to a CL spot and at best even challenge for the league as he never had such a talented squad before and he competed for the Scudetto with worse.

We already have him on the payroll, might as well use him as a caretaker and he'll use the remainder of this season as an audition for a Milan or Juventus job that he may land soon after

Yeah, going out last in a CL group with having improved the squad for a coach on 12 million is no short of a disaster. We've won only 4 times in the last 15 CL games. Shocking.

Man, watching Inter in the group stages last year was so nice; the team was playing so great, just unlucky with the final scores. Idk what in the world happened now

Time to prove this is more than a marketing ploy for you and your papa. Get rid of the Jube scum, all of them, now.
