It isn't really empty anymore. They hired Arrivabene as CEO and they have given a carte blanche to Allegri regarding transfers. I can't see Marotta going back to Juve when his role is going to be limited.

But yeah. I can't see Marotta staying at Inter for the long term. He is doing his job now because he has one year left in his contract but i am afraid he can't wait to get out. He came to Inter because he was convinced by Suning project. There's no project anymore. Like i said before, Suning project is dead. From what Zhang said their plan now is making the club financially sustainable so they can attract investors. Our best hope is they manage to find a buyer for the club soon.

The policy of cutting costs can only lead to the downsizing of the club. There's no sponsorship money from China anymore. You can't make fake plusvalenza deals as you need actual money to break even. The return of the crowds isn't going to be enough. So the only solution is players sales and wage bill cut. Best case scenario you become another version of Roma. They should at least bring a guy who has the expertise to find hidden gems at a low cost and sell them on a profit. It's the only way to remain somewhat competitive.

Lol since that first fiasco regarding those chinese restrictions I was convinced these people are only marginally better than thohir and the covid situation exposed them completely. No successful and capable owner depends this much on stadium revenue, as we can see now, cus we are just about the only team that needs to take five steps back while everyone else is going one or two. Ground works laid in the previous years by suning are nowhere near good enough, and it shows.

We are in a pretty desperate situation, especially if his story of no buyers cus of debt is true, so I really can't say shit to him right now, he is probably doing what is in the best interest of the club in the long term.

What he and suning needed to do is all in the past, and that's where all of my criticism comes from.
