Sensi vs Sassuolo is 100 times better than Vecino and Vidal last match. I am sure everyone here regret to see Vidal , Vecino , and Gags for the rest of season.

Sampdoria head coach Marco Giampaolo is already very pleased with what he’s seen from Inter-owned midfielder on loan with the Blucerchiati.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster DAZN after the Blucerchiati’s 4-0 win over Sassuolo yesterday, the coach emphasized the 26-year-old’s vision and special creative qualities.

Sensi enjoyed a positive debut having just joined Sampdoria on a dry loan during the January transfer window, scoring a goal and showing his suitability for the advanced midfield role in Giampaolo’s system.

The coach returns to Sampdoria to replace the departed Roberto D’Aversa having enjoyed some of his greatest success with the Ligurian club, and with the Inter midfielder he could enjoy a very positive spell for the rest of campaign.

The coach hailed the contribution from Sensi as playing a key role in inspiring the Blucerchiati to an emphatic win over Sassuolo to lift them clear of the relegation places, and explained what he feels are the player’s positive qualities.

“He sees things before everyone else” Giampaolo said of the midfielder, “I’m not likely to play him as a mezzala because it would be too demanding a role for his stamina.”

He added that “I like putting him in pockets of space higher up the pitch and I enjoyed what I saw from him, he’s already played in that position.”

Even if Sensi had stayed Inzaghi would still play Vidal, Gagliardini and Vecino ahead of him.

I think Inzaghi lost faith in Sensi when he injured himself during the match against Sampdoria.

Let's hope he stays healthy, play some regular football and maybe he could return to prove himself (or injure again). Who knows, time will tell.
