All hail Messi lol...damn! Just after I was complaining about how lazy he had been, he created Villa's goal & then goes on to own Madrid's back line....Pssst! Looks like those pricks are still taking the La LIGA title lol
Well that sucked. Real dominated the 1st half and Barca and barely had any possession yet they're still 2-1 up. That Villa strike was class even though it pains me to admit it
THis Madrid experiment starting to look like one that Mou might end up regretting....

Karim at the heart of it! That dude looks miles improved from his 1st 2 seasons, but then this is just 1 game. Barca will still own them at the Camp Nou lol....they better score like 2 more...
What did he do? Except few dribbles, did nothing really. Below average debut imho... He did show his determination, his dribbling skills and all, but wasnt nothing special...
Fair result for both team, but IMO Madrid should be deserved winner. It's been long time since I saw Barca being dominated that bad, especially at first half, yes they are missing Puyol and Pique at beginning of the game, but Madrid's pressure tactics was simply outstanding to neutralize Barca's passing game. If not because of magic from Villa and Messi, Madrid would have important advantage in the next game at Nou Camp.
Great match, loved it. Real was so great in the first half, fighting against Barca with their own medicine, high pressure, I thought I saw Messi for the first time after 20 minutes were gone Real in the end had so many great chances to score, with a better focus things would have been really awkward for Pep. Still, Villa scored a cracking goal and Messi had the luck great footballers always have, some rebound against Real player knee and he did the rest. Good appetizer before the more fiery battle on wed, CN game.
But to be honest, Im disappointed we missed out on Sanchez, he had a great debut, against arch enemies Real and he looked like he has been playing in Barca for a couple of years already. Just wait and see in couple of months they will go on destroy mode with Messi.
Real Madrid seriously needs a decent striker, Benzema is not good enough, they need someone of Eto'o's caliber. They should also consider letting go of Casillas, his performance has been going downhill since last season, if they sell him now, they still have an opportunity to make some money out of him. Oh, and Mou, please never let Khedira set foot on the field again.
