I don't think he's average, I think he's an awesome player. just bcoz he doesnt live up the fancy moves that he was apparently known for, ppl look down on him. he is a stankovic clone IMO just with more technical abilities. why was this bloke seen as a maradona when he's more like a tough working midfielder.

I still don't rate him that high...maybe because I saw too much of him at Wolfsburg. He has progressed over the past months, but still, his finishing is piss poor, he goes for the hard trick instead of the easy pass and he is way too inconsistent. Nevermind that his defensive work and everything else is below average.

Hasan, if Motta could stay fit for one season, I wouldn't want Albelda. Motta is a quite dirty player too who can go on your nerves and tactically, he is very smart. but the problem with him is that he is way too injury prone, hardly lasts for 90 minutes and....

Edmilson is not aggressive enough. He doesn't go into duels like Albelda does.
Albelda is a Vieira type, just less talented..he is a natural born leader.
Unfortunately, we don't have anyone really for that position. Valiente and Crosas maybe some day from our youth team, but too long...we need someone for the next 2-3 years and Albelda would be a free transfer and excellent signing.

Andre's career took a blow in germany, thats for sure.

The kid is immensly talented, but I labled him a write-off after Wolfsburg. Credit to him he has come back quite strong.

If he can go back to his days of the 2001 youth world cup, 2004 olympics and copa america the kid will go far.


btw, he struggles with physical play cause his only as tall as me and that says alot.

Damn...Vazquez was a real good coach. He was unfortunate, but he should have saved them over Levante. Levante and Salva will go down..

well...he had difficult groups both in WCQ and ECQ, but with that bulgarian team 0-0 against Albania is pretty bad.

I believe it's a conspiracy to make sure Bilbao stay up and don't get relegated.

I expect Levante to fire their coach too and bring in Hans Krankl, former Austrian national team coach and Barca player.
