Just pray that it won't happen...

This team is indeed machallah...I still can't believe it. But if Laporta, God forbid, is not allowed to be president anymore, we're big time screwed.

Thanks for the explanation, and Laporta has my prayers.

But LOL @ those people trying to ruin it! Damn it, oxygen bandits indeed.

Lastly, I agree with Catanha, La Liga teams have bulked up, and Valencia seem to be dangerous with their additions. To me, they are Barca's no.1's challenge.

yes..valencia is a real good team..good manager, solid squad..

two questions remain, whether they can handle the CL and league run, because although they were impressive last season, they played only the league and if they are really that stupid to sell ayala and aimar..

but they have a run...

I also expect Atletico to do better this time, because Aguirre is a great manager..but then again, Carlos Bianchi was an even better manager.

La Liga may finally shape up to be a league that I can enjoy watching. Despite it being popular and liked by many around the world, I put it behind both Calcio and the EPL.

However, with all the Calciopoli stuff, obviously Serie A is no longer near the top.

allah-o massala...

thank god...he is allowed to run again for presidency.

just on a sidenote: Under laporta we have made a net surplus of about 50-60 Million Euros the last 3 years. If you compare that with Chelsea, who made a loss of about 300 Million Pounds over the same period, it's not really bad.

Barca and bayern are currently the only teams making wins in their final accountings...just that Bayern can only win in Bundesliga. ;)

Actuall the "NO" from Kaka to Madrid still gives some credit to Serie A, well, everybody say "NO" to RealMerda, anyway looks like LFP spanish league will become the best in the world... let's see what the 3 teams do in CL, cause Chievo and Osasuna are not going to do shit.

LOL Alex, I kept thinking you were the other Alex (Gismo) because of the name and the avatar. I was surprised that Alex was making great posts until I found out it's you!

BTW, which were the teams that were promotoed to Primera Liga for this season (and from which cities?)

LOL Gismo, the guy who is from 1 different team every month?

Are:
-Recreativo de Huelva, from Andalucia (Sevilla, Betis, Malaga, Cadiz etc...) are a nice team.
-Levante, the new president wanna make a new Villarreal with buying veteran and famous players.i loved this team 2 years ago, but the morons of the managment make out Schuster and they go to second division.
-Nastic de Tarragona, it's gonna be the third team from Cataluña. And they also come to play to Barcelona with Espanyol on the first game of the season hehehehe

Zambrotta to Barcelona. :lol::lol::lol:

Zambrotta, Xavi & Ronaldinho as your left flank players.:lol::lol:

Barca should start with a -10 handicap next season to give the other teams some chances in La Liga. :lala:

Mehdi, what do you think will be Barca's starting defense line? Will Puyol be shifted to the right? Or maybe Thuram will assume his WC 98 position on the right? Or maybe Marquez will be sacrificed for Thuram (Would be a sad joke)? Or Puyol - Thuram in the middle and Marquez in midfield like in 04/05?

One way or the other, the fear caused by Emerson's and Canna's transfer, if there ever were one, was wiped away with one swift transfer move. Welldone.

Atlettico Madrid have a great team and great coach, team was far better than Osasuna in last year and for me they are No1 after Barca who is too smart.

rotation will be the key..

depending on opponent we will play either

---oleguer-----marquez---puyol----zambrotta----

or

zambrotta---marquez---puyol----gio---

or beletti---marquez--puyol---zambrotta---

I see no way really of Thuram making it to our starting 11. He is a great player and I love him dearly, but Marquez-Puyol is something else.
But he is a fantastic backup and as said, rotation is the key. He is great as a replacement for marquez and also for Puyol, if he once needs a rest.

I think he is a bit too old to play fullback. Also, he doesn't really like it..

Maybe Marquez can play alongside Xavi in the middle?

I think it's gonna be:

Zambrotta/Belletti/Oleguer-----Puyol/Oleguer----Thuram/Marquez----Zambrotta/Gio/Sylvinho
------------------------------------Marquez/Edmilson----------------------------------

EDIT: Just noticed he opened another 10 threads or something in the last 5 minutes, go ahead and kill him :D
