“It’s disappointing because we’ve won this competition in the past two years and, after controlling the match like we did, we deserved to win the game. However, that’s football for you. I can only find faults with the final 15 minutes of extra time; otherwise, we played well. We’re not used to other teams coming from behind against us and no one is happy; we wanted things to go differently in front of our fans. Lautaro suffered a strain which will have to be assessed, and we hope that it’s nothing. The doctors are quite relaxed about it, but we’ll have to evaluate things given that we have another game in 72 hours. We just need to carry on and look forward. Arnautovic did what he needed to do and what we asked of him. He wasn’t fortunate in front of goal but put in a positive performance. We could have done better for their second goal, but I think 90% of Serie A players would have struggled to chase down Ndoye. Sensi also did well and what was expected of him.”
Well maybe things would have gone differently in the draw but I rather play Atletico than PSG.stupid coppa game he decides to pair Lautaro and thuram to go for the win…. But in the important one to qualify 1st out the group he takes one out for the other………and to top it off lauti gets injured.
Inzaghi definitely takes a lot of credit for this season, but that's why he also needs to take a lot of blame for the previous two, imo. There is no reason whatsoever why we couldn't have played a fraction of a way we play now, specifically in defense, in the last two years. Instead, for almost a year and a half he tried pedal to the metal, ultra attacking football where we leaked goals like crazy. Only when his job was seriously on the line, he started entertaining the option of playing more conservatively.I give him so much credit for how Inter has managed to turn things around since late part of last season and how we've been so convincing lately.
It's not as easy as it looks on paper. With all these limited resources, injuries and everything else, he's keeping Inter competitive and on level with elite teams of Europe with superior resources. He's won my utmost respect and full faith. Grande Mister!
Yes, but he is still young for a coach and he needs to learn as well. His methods gave some results at Lazio, so maybe he thought that with better players, it will be enough to get the title. The important thing is that he is learning from his mistakes and he evolves as a coach.Inzaghi definitely takes a lot of credit for this season, but that's why he also needs to take a lot of blame for the previous two, imo. In hindsight, if that learning process brings us a second a star it's all forgiven, but I just want to remind people what really coincided with us leveling up as a team and that's rock solid defense. The reason for the reminder is the fact a lot of people were defending him by criticizing our strikers and missed chances when in reality leaking goals and ultra attacking setup was the main issue from day one and this season proves it.
Football is becoming more and more of a squad game. Your starting XI is still important, however it’s the teams that can rotate without losing the most quality that are going to start going the furthest in competitions.
Hope it glides, like sucking oldtimer dick
Bro maybe go out for a walk and get some fresh air. Stop the negativityWe are not winning shit this season either. Scudetto is rube's, mark my words. This spineless cunt has some sort of stockholm syndrom towards them. Also, Atletico will probably win the first match. In the reverse leg when everything will look like we are fighting back, this pussyface will sub off our key players to lose the game just like 2 years ago against Liverpool. I don't know man, it just feels like he is too afraid of jumping over his ceiling which he set for himself in his mind. Everytime there is a chance to jump higher he somehow manages to bottle by making absolutely bizarre decisions. Like last year, when he started to utilize Lukaku towards the end of the season more often, when the guy responded with beast form banging screamers left and right. Everything looked like a common sense - the coach is preparing his key striker for the CL final. Yet when the time came, he decided to bench him in favor of a half alive corpse who needs an oxygen tank to survive 30 mins of football. For fuck sake, losing is not a problem. The problem is how you lose and you lose like a fucking pussy. That pisses me off the most.
