You obviously don't watch Tottenham cause they are in even deeper shit than Milan. They had Hojbjerg unavailable for the first leg, and now Bentancur is out for 6 months due to ACL. Their defense is a laughing stock, Dier, fucking Eric Dier is a championship material at best, Romero's ceiling is Atalanta. Lloris is their Handa. Apart from Kane and Son, the team is full of nobodies. And with this team Conte managed to finish 1st in their CL group, a pretty balanced group if you ask me. I doubt Inzaghi would have won that group. And mind you, we were lucky refs fucked Barca hard at Meazza. Had they shown to the spot on Dumfries handball, it would probably be us playing in the EL.I think these Inter directors need to take a look around. What other Italian club manager, referring to Spalletti, Allegri, Pioli, would have been able to qualify from that CL group of death and stay in the Coppa?
Didn’t Marotta’s favourite manager just get beaten by the same AC Milan that is in crises.
I'm curious too. Asllani is a great talent but strikes me as a naive player sometimes. Would you trust him to see out a game like this one? He needs minutes but we play so chaotic and lack consistency to me its not ideal to get him too involved at this juncture where every game hereon in is a must win for us.Why are you guys so focused on primavera players when we have two youngsters who cost 21m (Asllani and Bellanova) and have limited playing time?
While we can argue Bellanova has Darmian and Dumfries ahead of him what's really the excuse for Asllani? Even with Brozovic injured for months Inzaghi prefers playing Mkhi nonstop and even give playing time to Gagliardini over playing Asllani.
There's no valid reason for Asllani to have less playing time than Gagliardini.

Why is it relevant who will be gone in 4 months for current moment? Inzaghi picks the players from his squad who he sees fit to play right now. He doesn't think what happens in 4 months.thank you for playing a guy that will be gone in 4 months, instead of a young guy, thats also much better.
I would trust a lamp instead of gags...So yes definitely would trust asllani. Will he make the odd silly mistake given his age and experience? Sure. But he will learn from them unlike gags who is unable to improve...I'm curious too. Asllani is a great talent but strikes me as a naive player sometimes. Heard Tottenham fans complain about this on Talksport. Actually, Spurs fans are sick of Conte playing ugly and loosing anyway because they use not win but at least perform and now they don’t win and play like shit. You obviously don't watch Tottenham cause they are in even deeper shit than Milan. At least perform? They performed so good that they had been finishing 6th, 7th in the league? Do they remember that they are in the CL this season thanks to Conte?Heard Tottenham fans complain about this on Talksport. Totally disagree about Romero. Actually he would most definitely be a starter in this current Inter side without breaking a sweat.
Don’t forget this is the same Romero who was one of the best defenders in Seria A before his big move, had Messi pressuring Barca to sign him and just won a World Cup.
He is naive sometimes, but 5G offers nothing actually.I'm curious too. Asllani is a great talent but strikes me as a naive player sometimes. Would you trust him to see out a game like this one? Height means nothing if your jogging around and don't actually get there to challenge in the air...I feel like Gags offers height, which isn't irrelevant against teams like Udinese who play very physical game. And that's why he was taken in for example yesterday.
Since this is an Inzaghi thread, I will tie it back to him. Conte is nearing his second season at Tottenham, and diminishing return of his style of football is showing. At least perform? We had Murillo who was also regarded as one of the best defenders in serie A and big clubs were lining up after him. But do you actually watch Romero?
My memory is failing me, but I think Conte was the first manager to re-introduce back 3's to England. Prior to his arrival everyone was trying to pretend they were playing total football with glamorous 4-3-3s. I think he caught a lot of people by surprise in his first season at Chelsea, once he pivoted to 3 at the back. The allure quickly wore off in his second season. Now everyone plays with a back 3, at least occasionally. Even Guardiola. I think the shock factor is gone, and now it's clear that he simply doesn't have the most talented team in England.Since this is an Inzaghi thread, I will tie it back to him. Opposition teams figure out Conte’s game plan and big sides in the CL or big clubs in domestic leagues have the players to defend against his very rigid way of playing.
Unlike Conte, Inzaghi i believe is an attacking style manager and allows his players the freedom to operate, which adds a layer of unpredictability.
From a player perspective, look at Perisic as an example, this is a player that has the ability to take on his man and deliver a cross from either foot, but is currently being reduced to the “Conte game plan”. Son is also suffering now under Conte. Conte style stifles creative players while benefits physical players for obvious reasons.

Italy is a different ballgame, of course.
Credit to him. He comes into a team, gets the players in shape, gives them a clear identity and communicates what he expects from each player, and develops patterns of play.My memory is failing me, but I think Conte was the first manager to re-introduce back 3's to England. I don't particularly appreciate when members on here deliberately change the course of debate when their initial argument weakens, but anyway... Conte took charge at Tottenham when the club's season was already fucked up by Santos. Nonetheless, he managed to snatch the 4th CL spot towards the end of the season being neck and neck with Arsenal until the last couple of weeks. This season he won their CL group and still has a chance to advance further in the playoffs. The club is slowly climbing up in the premier league and currently is sitting in 4th place. All that despite an immense number of injuries. I don't get why you are thinking his style of football is diminishing. I would get it if he was at the helm of Mancity, Liverpool, or Chelsea. He is coaching Tottenham who was in crisis mode for the past several seasons. Inzaghi is nearing his second season with Inter too and instead of continuing where Conte left off, he has been dragging us down yet you are blowing his horns. Should I just conclude that you are hating Conte and that objectivity doesn't work for you when judging his work?Since this is an Inzaghi thread, I will tie it back to him.
