I think we should start

Bisseck/DeVrij/Augusto
Darmian Dimarco
Asslani
Frattesi Mkhi
Thuram Sanchez

and probably later
Bisseck/DeVrij/Acerbi
Dumfries/Cuadrado Augusto
Asslani
Barella Klaassen/Sensi
Lautaro/Arna Sanchez

Or start Acerbi first, that should balance out the over-rotation and save energy for Napoli

What am I reading?

We are managing the league race not just the game. It might be hard, but let's try to see the bigger picture. Merda Allegri would accomplish nothing with this Inter, let alone develop us to who are today.

Inzaghi didn't develop us to what we are today either. It's a long process in which many coaches took part of it.

I'm exactly looking at the bigger picture. Just given the fact that such situation might not come in the near future, makes me frustrating that we didn't push any harder for the win.

Let's see after a few weeks if we are really managing the the race according to the plan. It's still positive that we didn't lose, but any eventual false step in the next few matches would probably mean that we drop off the top spot. And then you know it's gonna be far more difficult to recover it.

Gobbi have the system on their side, plus the lack of CL matches is an advantage. We need to be aware of consequences. I think this draw suits far more to gobbi than us.

The situation is coming at the start of February.

Inzaghi needs to step in and punish our players for conceding three goals like that. They've got to be punished in training with extra sessions and all. That first half was just not pro-level stuff.

I'm getting this vibe that it's all fun and games now since we managed to level the score. It's like, "oops, we almost lost, haha! Lol! Funny!" with inside jokes flying around. But that attitude screams 'loser mentality' to me.

These players had a shot in a Champions League match after warming the god damned bench all season, they should've shown way more grit out there.

Kudos for his heavy rotation of players and his halftime talk, and his timely subs to enable the comeback and salvage a point. I think it would be a good idea to have todays starters practice playing as a unit in training in the future. The first half against Benefica was horrific but I don't know how much was nerves and lack of playing time together. Some credit must go to Benefica in the first half too, they came out to win it. Once Inter scored Benefica evaporated mentally, while Inter did not even after going down 3-0. In retrospect Inzaghi, his staff and the players may have learned a lot about themselves and their teammates, through that adversity. Hopefully it brings good results in the future.

I don't want to justify that performance, but I understand it. Most of those players were playing like 10-15 at the end of the games in well oiled machine. Now they were thrown together in the deep against a decent opponent away.

It was full bench lineup which has never played together (those players on the pitch at the same time). There were some vets of this team like De Vrij and Acerbi but that was clearly not enough.

3-0 in one half is not something you should accept but the reaction was great after the HT. With the same players. They managed to get the game to 3-2, then few first team players came in to finish the tie.

The main goal was to give rest to the most of the first lineup and that was achieved. By having such a good group stage, Inzaghi had this rotation opportunity in a congested schedule so of course you need to use it. The downside of using that is the possibility of that first half shit.

You don't punish your B team when they are losing 3-0 against an A team away from home. Especially when the same B team started the comeback. It was a dignified response to a bit of a lackluster first half.

The only player that really did nothing good for the whole time on the pitch was Klaassen.

I admit I was on the InzaghiOut bandwagon and I still think he lacks the personality to be among the top managers but he is a good tactician and probably the best manager we can get in Italy. When judging him you have to take everything into account and doing so we will realize he overachieved with the resources at his disposal.

Better to have an overachiever. I'm telling you, if only we didn't have so many money issues, this Inter would be THE Italian club of this decade that would consistently fight for the CL trophy.

With so many quality players we lost just in the last 5, 6 seasons, we could've had Cancelo and Hakimi on the wings and a much better bench

He has always been a great coach, but made a major step forward last season when he had his back against the wall. To me after all he achieved last season, and the way he started this one with a deeper squad, he is undoubtedly the best Italian coach and among the top coaches of the world.

Maybe it’s wrong to single him out as his whole team seems to do it‘s job. I don’t have any concerns and doubts about us reaching our goals bearing any major injuries.

My guess is that was the threat at half time, hence we scored 3 goals after?

I mean that was a terrible 45 minutes, but when you throw a bunch of bench players that rarely play with another, you can't really expect much.

The important thing is they were getting better as the game went on, which means they were improving in real time.

One thing still good about Italy and Serie A is that they continue to produce top managers and tactical game-play. Too bad that finances, regulations and infrastructures aren't matching that level.

Great payoff from resting key players against Benfica. Great morale from the team as well, probably some of it came from the "comeback" against Benfica. Oh and we are doing this without Bastoni and Pavard as well. Grande

And without De Vrij who has been great this season.

I only wish he would maybe give Mkhi a rest and start Sensi/Frattesi the next game.

Other than that, we are clearly doing everything right to snatch that Scudetto. This win is for that Juve game that we should've won

I don't think Mkhi was tired, I think he was just fucking around.

Anyway Grande.
