No way, keep timid Inzaghi till the end of season. Avoid Tuchel, until he gets treatment cause he appears to be absolutely barking.

Never understand why members defend Conte. He barely achieved the minimum during his tenure. Actually, Conte didn’t qualify past the group stages in CL in both years, which means he underachieved.

Inzaghi, in his first year with Inter, and 73% of of Conte’s first team, overachieved compared to Conte, considering he lost the MVP player.
Tell me please, If we hired Inzaghi instead of Conte in 2019, would Inzaghi outperform him? Would he be able to convince a coach like Pintus to join his team? Would a player like Bastoni start over Godin, or Barella over Radja? Please describe what Inzaghi could have achieved with the team he inherited from Spalletii with all its problems. Cause your comparison is not fair.

Same can apply on what would Conte achieve if he came here instead Limonade year ago, and taking team without Hakimi, Eriksen and Lukaku? Dont see him beating rube twice and winning Coppa and Supercoppa..

This is not the point. The point is that Conte came to the club and the management bent over for him to the point where the primavera had to implement his 3-5-2 system. He got his way from transfers to system and barely delivered.

A club should not let a manager, whose tenure was not more than 3 years, dictate transfer and other dealings that may impact the club long after he is gone.

Him going through the CL group is also doubtful, but I think he would have won the scudetto.

What do you mean this is not the point. You literally said Inzaghi is better than Conte. Explain please why so?

And what is wrong with making the management bent over for him? If this is something that needs to be done in order to reach the goals then what is the problem? You wanted Conte to win the scudetto with a magic stick or what? Why doesn't Inzaghi do the same, why doesn't he be more audacious with his demands? I will answer you why. Because he can't guarantee the result. He is afraid of getting held accountable.

A coach who guarantees the result sells a striker who everyone thought was a world class player for 60m and buys the one everyone thought was going to flop. A coach who guarantees the result sets up a special training and nutrition to make him the best striker of serie A.

What about Inzaghi? Eh meh.. Lukaku is not in shape, he is not the Lukaku we know... I don't know what to do. I think I will play Dzeko.

Inzaghi overachieved my ass... are you kidding me.

No manager can guarantee results!

Conte’s master plan
Conte brought in Lukaku for a very specific role, which actually was his main game plan. In fact, if you can recall, I believe it was Monchengladbach’s manager Marco Rose who asked his technical staff to study Inter’s game plans ahead of the first fixture and they produced only one video. When he asked how else do Inter play, his staff mentioned that Inter only have one game plan, which is boot it to Lukaku.

Again look back to the Sky sport Italia after show where Capello asks Conte after they failed to win against Donetsk if Inter has a plan B.

This is why you bring in a manager, so you can defend with 11 men and boot the ball to Lukaku?

So to answer your loaded questions, prefer Inzaghi over Conte in terms of football and Club planning. Spare me your fellating of Conte’s one dimensional football and constant nagging.

Their merits = their flaws.
Conte will come up with a solid plan, and will make the plan work by forcing other things to make it work (transfers, fitness training, sex life etc.), but lack of the flexibility, not even a plan B.
Inzaghi plays with the cards he is dealt with, but could lead to over adapting (Lazio game).
Just the above is already good enough to explain why one would thrive more in league and the other would in cups.

Man Management - quite the opposite as well.

Inzaghi's style really reminds me of Ancelotti, not because Marotta said so. Just think about how different in style we played this season and last season, and also players relationship (look at Real). Regarding to "Lukaku is not in shape", I think of Torres in Chelsea, but I hope Lukaku would find his form back.

Hypothetic situation if Inzaghi came in 2019 with the budget, yes he might not be able to bring in Pintus, but nor would we bring in Lukaku, so not as important, and if transfer is entirely up to him, it might be disastrous (same as Jose's first year), but bare in mind, it shouldn't be his job, so if we have a decent sporting director, just like how we worked with Jose the second year, you tell us what kinda player you want, we will bring one for you (e.g. Carvalho => Lucio), then I would say we would still win the title, and have higher achievement in CL /Europa.

However, the above had a few assumptions, new players will also bring in some winning mentality, and our transfers are good.

Still I want to state that I believe Inzaghi's man management is not exactly as bad as some FIF members put it, I would say similar to Mancini's, but the players do need to be more mature, cause it is keeping them pleasant (Even after bad games, but harder to avoid complacency I guess) and treating them like adults; Conte is more Capello, commander type.

In short, I think Inzaghi can still achieve what Conte did back then with the same resources and the right help (transfers) in a different style and way, so big if, but again it shouldn't be his job.
And if Conte stayed, uhh, oh he didn't.

Team Inzaghi, if I have to choose, but I still appreciate Conte won us the tittle.

To me Conte's biggest achievement is bring in Lukaku and marked him up and we get to sell him for a much higher price.

Don't have one.

The only failure of conte is not having better results in cl. Saying he barely delivered is a proper bullshit. Comfortably winning scuddetto after ten years, playing el final year before that, always having a sense that team is improving and players are vigilant.

Look what you have now with inzaghi second year, team is falling apart at the start of the season, preseason preparations were shit, that's how hard it is to have any sort of continuity, and we had that with conte.

That's not barely delivered, you need to wake up from your fantasy world where conte is satan himself just because of his past as juventino.

Why did you bring up this as if it justifies what you have said initially? So what that Rose managed doing eventually? Did he beat Inter? No. He can send his scouts all he wants, but the truth is he got his ass whooped. Cappelo is an old retard, I don't care about his provocative questions. He managed to flop in CL with galacticos and finishing forth in laliga. Where was his plan B?

We didn't play a defensive football. If it was the case, then how did we manage scoring 89 goals? More than Inzaghi's team who scored 61 in that season?

If it's all that easy like you suggest, like sit deep and just pass the ball to Lukaku who will do the trick, then why doesn't he score for Inzaghi now? Do you think Inzaghi can come up with some training routine or maybe dieting in order to make Lukaku return his shape? Could you please inform me in what aspects exactly Inzaghi is stronger than Conte?

Like i said on live thread, my issue isn't losing to Bayern. That was expected. The problem is we made it too easy for them. We lost to Real and Liverpool at home last season but we made them fight for it. Bayern didn't even sweat tonight.

There is a lot to unpack here and a lot of different points one could write about, but I'll just stick to one. It baffles me that his team doesn't have the elementary basics of counter-attacking down. Not a single prepared play, none. Almost like he went into this match hoping for a goalless draw, which is not only naive but also quite stupid.
