Kova, we didn't do too good. I think Siena actually had more shot on goal. Our goal was a penalty after Cruz brought down. Ibra took it hard & well. Their goal was made by a little chaos in front of our net. We replied almost the same way, chaos in front of their net, & Chuchu was there to slide the ball in.

I'm not so good at writing report of the game. Pls correct me if u see anything wrong, pls...

Maicon was out coz ya..he kinda sucked...he lost the challenges a couple times. We are playing a little bit better so far...more attacking, more movements. Chuchu cleared out a couple dangerous opprotunities..he's just...good! Formation should still be Deki Chuchu Javier Chivu in the middle. Front still Ibra Cruz.

Siena is getting more dangerous too. Dang!

Pele is in for Jimi.

Burdisso is in for Maxwell.

3-2. Good result poor performance. Ibra should have had a hat-trick, Cruz should have scored. I can't believe Siena are even in the relegation zone. They played better than Roma and Fiorentina against us.

A Bit lucky with the pen and the defence really needs to start clearing balls properly. But 3 points is 3 points.

*sigh* can't say I complain with the final result. But definitely need a talk between Mancini & the players later on.

Ivan seems lost without Walter. Marco & him need more playing together time again, to find that rhythm back.

Zlatan was good...although he could've made a hattrick. & the chance wasted, it was gold too. Still, though, the second goal was awesome.

Cruz could've made that goal near the last minute. Mancini should've replaced him on the 75th w/ Crespo.

First half, we lost lots of ball in midfield creating dangerous chances for Siena in our penalty area. Second half, we fought a lot in the midfield, yet having trouble getting the ball forward.

Chuchu was gold. Capitano, needless to say. He's a horse, tiredlessly run n run n run. Chivu did well. Deki was great, too bad he was only in on the 2nd half. Both wings (Maicon & Maxwell) were unwell.

Overall, this wasn't the best game..at all.

Offensively we played really well. Moved the ball around nice and created many chances but defensively we were very poor today. Cordoba, Maicon and Maxwell were all poor. Zanetti did great as always and Matrix was decent.

Cambiasso was his usual dominating self and won more balls then any other player on the pitch. Julio Cesar did very good again and can't be blamed for either of the goals.

I'm happy with the way we played and most imortantly the three points. We have to remember that it's the first match after new years and we take a while to build up steam.

Ibra MOM with two goals and on assist. Too bad he didn't score that last chance to get his first Inter hattrick. That would of been so sweet. But some of the passes he pulled were magical, like the flick on for Cruz at the end of the match.:drool:

Nice to see Stankovic back who also had a good match.

Apart from some sloppy defending it was a good performance.

Pretty decent game when you consider this being our first official game after the break. Siena certainly played better than what the league table says about them. However it is always a pleasure to beat team wearing zebra kit.
Ibra could have easily had a hat-trick today. But then again scoring 2 and assisting another would do for today. His sec was just superb. Again I wasn’t too pleased with Pele – IMO he doesn’t cut it – and unfortunately for us he just has to play from time to time as we are having way too many injuries in the middle of the park.
Deki had a ok half since coming back from injury. Hopefully he can find his form from last year.

Further it was evident that Matrix needs another 2-3 games in order to find his best form.
Cambi was again dominating the middle of the pitch and was superb through out the game. The only worry for me is whether Maicon got injured or he was taken off because he felt some kind of a pain and we didn’t want to take any risks (at one close up you tell he is in a bit of a pain!). I’m hoping for the latter as he is extremely crucial in our current game plan.

Defensively we need to be a touch sharper – then again it’s not fair to complain much as we have conceded by far the least # of goals and at the same time scored most in the league. I’m sure the lads will pick up themselves in the next match. So all in all, it was another good day at work from our lions

I think we did well in ifrst half.
And we cant expect from siena not to try and fight.

We will get better, but still-we deserved win and got it.

Nice to see Deki back!

We hardly had any play on the flanks until Stankovic came on. Maicon surprised me by being so mediocre. Zanetti and Cambiasso worked very hard in midfield to compensate for the others in defence and midfield. Ibrahimovic's excellence and a bit of top-team luck won us this game.

lol adnan it was indeed an extremely boring game...very tactical...also god knows how we missed that last chance in the game.

I think it's time to take Cruz out of the starting line up. It's true he scores but apart from scoring he really offers nothing. Maybe having Ibra alone up front and filling up the midfield with all of our stars returning. And if that doesn't work we could always take some one out and bring on Cruz since he's Super sub!
