I do, I liked him very much

Similar to Halilovic who was also at La Masia

Before leaving for City, there was belief he could be a difference maker as an interior. I liked his left foot, mentality and aggression, not surprising he opted for Italy

You do wonder about talents like this that leave an academy when deep pocketed clubs come calling. Moriba in a similar way was a rising star and has yet to regain that form since he chased money & promise of minutes in 1st team

How’s he doing?

Very well actually. Level is obviously low but he's really impressing there. He mostly plays as a #10 or as a playmaker in double pivot. Excellent technique, good vision, good finishing and very good at free kicks. 6 goals and 4 assists this season. In terms of style he reminds me of a young David Silva. Parma are big favorites to get promoted so i am curious to see him in Serie A next season.

That was the best case scenario for his progression I remember, was disappointed he left Barca for City. Not thriving there, I assumed it was either professionalism issues or lacking the level

Como under Fabregas is soo close to Serie A!

Parma 73
Como 71
Venezia 68

Venezia just got red card and conceded, its 2-2

There's 2 matches left and Como has 3pt lead over Venezia. They can afford 1 draw and 1 has to be a win.

FYI , Como has the wealthiest owner in Serie B. Founded 1907!

So Serie A could have Inter, Milan, Atalanta, Monza , Como from the Milano area.

So how does the qualification works again? Palermo with 19 points lesser than Como has the same chance to get promoted to Serie A?

I amazed on how this thing called Djarum Super Cigarettes can help Como promote to Serie A this season.

FYI, Como currently owned by Hartono brothers who have their own primary business in tobacco companies called, Djarum, and both Hartono are also the wealthiest football owner in Italia.

Top 2 get automatic qualification. 3-8 play playoffs for the last spot.

Como needs one win in their last 2 to be sure of finishing second.

They have the right idea of where a tie after 180 minutes goes to the team with the better point total, but going as low as 8th place for play-off spots is ridiculous.

Have to say I agree. For example at the moment the 3rd placed Venezia has almost 20 points more than the 7-8th placed Sampdoria-Brescia. That's just ridiculous you can get to Serie A from that position no matter how heroic such a playoff run would be.

I'm hoping Venezia prevails given how much of a better team they are. I'm curious to see what would happen if Palermo comes back given their ownership situation.
