Colombian Ronaldo :( we will miss you in every mercato (pun intended)

haha... dude was the streakiest player ever... not like he had many injuries in his career either. Still if he going to the MLS we should have tired to get him to cover us till the end of the season. If anything happens to Lautaro we are beyond fkd

Damn, can't let that happen. We don't have the funds but we gotta make some kind of deal with Monza and Di Gregorio. They say we have resale % but I think he's still too expensive for us unless we make some sales.

It seems that Jube are ready to sell Chiesa for 30-40mln. It's not worth for us, but Milan can buy him if they are able to get 100 mln for Leao.

Why would Milan do that?

Because they also don't have money, and most probably will want to improve their squad, which requires money. Leao has a high value, and he could be used as a scapegoat. He is important for them, but not irreplaceable, considering how inconsistent he is. Chiesa will bring almost the same on the table, and they will have like 60-80mln in addition to invest in the team.
The only concern is that Chiesa is injury prone.

I don't know about their financial situation and their objectives but as far as I know, they're building team around Leao and Theo (and some other promising additions). They didn't sell him once he was going through a fire form, so I don't think they will now. Indeed he's kind of inconsistent, but honestly he's THAT good, that even while he's underperforming, he tends to be impactful and productive in term of assisting at least.

Leao to Chiesa is a massive downgrade. The latter has to make a step back to review his career IMO, or perhaps be patient and see who's coming to replace Allegri, so maybe under a new regime, he could pick his form. But even at his best, Chiesa is still inferior to Leao, in every single aspect of the game.

Chiesa was never THAT good. He is known for his tenacity and great stamina. So, I wouldn't say only concern regarding Chiesa is being injury prone. I mean, Dybala is injury prone as well, but he's still on another level once he steps his foot on the pitch.

I wouldn't judge Chiesa by his performance now, as he is used mainly as a forward by Allegri. Considering that Mbappe is leaving PSG, Milan can squeeze at least 120mln from them for Leao.
And Chiesa is a downgrade, but not massive. With the rest of money, Milan can invest in 2-3 quality players more, which will have a bigger overall impact than Leao only.

My opinion towards Chiesa doesn't depend on his recent form. I was never a huge fan of his game even during his Viola days actually.

Good point regarding them investing on 2-3 quality players to cover that loss of Leao, but I really don't think they will sell him anytime soon. Then again, you never know, but honestly it doesn't make any sense at all. They should have sold him when he was going through a great form and was dominating the league by far.

Chiesa would do a lot better in a 433 or similar formation, I believe. I feel like Vlahović and Chiesa both aren't playing to their potential because Allegri doesn't know what he has

That's a myth. Chiesa was quite competitive under Allegri as well (pre-injury that held him off pitch for a long time). Vlahovic is extremely inconsistent. He's had periods while he was looking quite competitive and scoring, but also there's a period while he was basically useless in term of contribution in the build-up play and missing chances.

I'm usually against judging strikers whom missing chances, because they are strikers above everything, but it's not like he didn't had opportunities. He was just not competent enough in a long term.

It's true that some players work better under a particular regime but in this case, it's not Allegri's fault that some of their key players have been off. Truth always hurts, and some people aren't ready for that.

I like Raspadori, but as a bench option, not as a starter. Let them take him.
