Romano:
🔴🇳🇱 These are real, smart clauses for Bayern into Zirkzee’s contract — wanted and managed by former director Hasan Salihamidzić when he sold him to Bologna in 2022.

◉ 50% sell-on clause.
◉ €40m release clause — so it means around €20m for Bayern.
◉ Bayern got €8.5m fee.

I think the release clause is only valid for Bayern, to activate which they will have to pay the entire 40m. The sell on clause is valid for other clubs. It is a smart deal nevertheless

yea would make no sense for a 40m release clause when you net 12.5 m for one of your best players with a crazy ceiling.

In practice, it's valid for all teams because they can either:
1. Pay a small fee to Bayern to activate the clause on their behalf.
2. Pay Bologna slightly above 40m, Bologna would be incentivized to accept the bid otherwise they would lose the player to Bayern for exactly 40m.

There are taxes and other implications in this but you get the point.

Where and who is Scalvini linked to? I am usually cautious with Atlanta players but like to keep him on the watch list.

🔵🔄 Pasquale Mazzocchi will undergo tests as new Napoli player tomorrow, joining on deal worth more than €3m.

Alessandro Zanoli will join Genoa on loan from Napoli, as expected.
Nice cheap transfer from Napoli. Mazzocchi for 3-5mln is good deal.

Rabiot Muriel and Felipe Anderson are free hmm....
The French market value is the highest and youngest, but maybe salary too high for a position we don't really need. But it's nice to show a middle finger to Jube after Djalo.
Other two are better than our two grandpas. Anderson especially, surely Inzaghi knows how to make the best out of him.

Man Utd reportedly want Scalvini and Atalanta have set the asking price to 60M.

I don`t want Rabiot, club made its choice by signing Piotr. It`s enough if we show juBentus the middle finger by signing our targets Zielinski and Djalo on a free.

Felipe Anderson is playing in the attack as a Right Winger - position which we don`t employ.

Muriel on the other hand fits the bill for the super-sub role. Especially given the lack of efficiency of the current Sanchez and Arnautovic. I expect Taremi to replace Sanchez and depending on Correa`s future, the club might be tempted in offering him a contract.

* me rooting for the Samardzic deal to become official - will be glad to see juBentus miss out on him. :sneaky:

Djalo is going to Juve as they are agreeing to pay to Lille.

Maybe you forget Anderson was once 40m player due to Inzaghi ;) He made him the beast SS partnering Immobile, yes in the same 3-5-2. Balde Diao was his sub and we chose the wrong one.

Keyword: was. 45M actually. However, I doubt Inter need Anderson at this point of his career - he will be 31 by June.

Jube are indeed trying to beat Inter by signing Djalo this month. They know that they would have to pay a compensation of about €2 million and bonuses of a similar amount to convince Lille and talks between the two clubs have brought about a general agreement. It is now only about whether Jube actually pay that amount or not, since Lille do not want to lose the player on a free transfer.
Juve hope that their excellent relations with Lille help convince Djalo in moving to the Bianconeri instead of waiting for Inter in the summer. Alex Sandro will leave in the summer and Dean Huijsen is nearing a Roma move. The expectation is that Lille won’t see Djalo as a regular for the next five months and that could convince him about a Juve move.
It will be up to the player, just like in the Bremer case. It`s the real test for Djalo`s character.

We don`t need players that don`t keep their word and I love this "big club" attitude dictated by Marotta.

Inter are not desperate for anyone. Inter don`t chase, Inter attract.

I think it's more about Djalo wanting to play right now. Lille wants to sell and threatens to sit him for the rest of the season if he doesn't accept to move now. And we aren't going for him now.

I think if we had proper funds, we would probably buy him now. And then either keep him or send him on loan. Now Juve will do that.

I'm not holding anything against Djalo in this one. It's not a disaster if we lose him because of Bisseck.

Also from a player perspective it's better to go to Juve over Inter. Better chances of playing time. At Juve his competition is gonna be Gatti and Rugani. On the other hand, at Inter he would have to compete against Pavard, an emergent Bisseck, De Vrij and Acerbi.

Djalo is even far from recovery. His season is pretty much over regardless.

Thats ACL torn of all kind.

We need someone better off the bench as a forward

Yesterday saw Juve play 3 u20 guys up top. We aren’t going to do that so let’s buy some 30+ year old cheap and give him insane he can retire next year wages so we have a better option than fking Sanchez and eats 10 goals a game Arna
