I don't see how one of Lautaro or Dybala will be on the bench. If we get Dybala, it's better to sell Lautaro. But both of them are inconsistent, and maybe it won't have so much difference at the end.

They're indeed both inconsistent. But Dybala is also injury prone (less games than Sanchez in the last two seasons) and has higher salary. He's also 4 years older. Lautaro has also outscored Dybala in the league in every season since he came to Italy, even in his first one:

18/19: Lautaro 6 goals Dybala 5 goals
19/20: Lautaro 14 goals Dybala 11 goals
20/21: Lautaro 17 goals Dybala 4 goals
21/22: Lautaro 11 goals Dybala 7 goals

So i don't see any reason to swap Lautaro with Dybala. We can't complain Lautaro doesn't score enough and then replace him with someone who scores even less. If we have to sell Lautaro, at least replace him with Jonathan David who is coming from good seasons, is young with high potential and resale value (lets face it, we're a selling club now so it's important) and would earn significantly less instead with someone who has been in downward spiral since 2018.

Lautaro is Argentina starting striker for next 5 years. When Dybala not even on the bench last year in Copa America.

And only 2 international goals from 31 matches played for Argentina at the age of 28!

I hoped Dybala could proceed to become a bigger star for Argentina, but unfortunately inconsistency and injuries didn't help him. Definitely doesn't worth more than what he currently earns at Juve and I don't want him here; unless Sanchez leaves and we don't offer him anything excessive on a long ass contract.

Dybala can't work at Argentina till Messi is around. He just won't fit. That's also been his problem at Juve with Ronaldo and others. The ideal role him is in a 2 striker formation, which is why I am inclined towards him in spite of injuries and salary, and the Juve past.

Don't think it's fair to compare Lautaro and Dybala's goals as the main metric. Lautaro has only ever been a striker whereas Dybala has played all over the place, and generally further away from goal as a SS, AM and even RW.

That inability to lock down a position is probably reason for a bit of criticism but putting stats and formations aside for a second, it's plainly visible from the way they play that Dybala has much more playmaking responsibility than Lautaro does. If we could compare a heat map of the regions where they have the ball, I'd say it's a safe bet that Dybala's action zones are further away from goal than Lautaro. It's pretty expected for him to score less goals than a center forward.

Nah, you’re flipping causality. Dybala is tasked with more play making because he can’t score goals consistently, not the other way around.

Remember when juve signed Higuain, Ronaldo, Morata… so they can benefitted from Dybala’s playmaking? Well, it didn’t happen. Dybala simply hasnt been consistently effective at whatever roles he’s had.

And what do you think of when you think about Dybala? Do you think of his playmaking abilities, or is it the great goals he scored with his left foot once in a while? The latter right?

Sorry to say this, Sanchez is better than Dybala at this moment. Correct me if i wrong.

We don't need Dybala so much, with Scamacca coming, we have Correa-Lautaro-Dzeko-Scamacca.

Imo we should sign Raspadori instead of bringing Dybala with high salary.

Dybala is a quality player but he's a short term player and we should try and continue building our long term core. Signing Raspa is a step towards achieving that along with Scamacca and Frattesi etc.

It looks like it wasn't enough for them to get rejected once. They want a repeat. Raspa uno di noi.

Actually I can totally see Raspadori going to juve.

Despite professing his love for Inter after scoring a double against Milan last season, his beloved Inter look set to take his best friends Scamacca and Frattesi while leaving him behind. That's a villain's story arch right there.

I totally agree with you Universe. Raspa already rejected them once because he was sure Inter was coming for him. But now it seems all we want from Sassuolo are Scamacca and Frattesi.

I am suprised if Sassuolo sell Raspadori, Scamacca, and Frattessi at the same time.

Already lost Boga to Atalanta this window.

We should get Scamacca & Frattesi this summer.

Let Raspadori remain at Sassuolo for another season to prove his worth, and then in 2023 when we cash in on Martinez we can replace him with Raspadori.

I don’t see how Raspadori fits at Juve, the good thing about Inter right now is that we play a 2 striker formation. Juventus don’t seem to know what the hell they want to play but it seems like it will probably be a front 3 once Chiesa is back and Dybala leaves in the summer which I believe he will.

Players like Raspadori & Dybala are built for a front 2. Their only natural position on the pitch is as a support striker. Neither are industrious enough to be an attacking midfielder or athletic enough to be a winger. You can count the number of top level clubs that play a front 2 on one hand. It’s basically Inter, Atletico, and Juventus (sometimes).

He doesn't fit in jube, but most probably they want to prevent him going in Inter or Napoli. Same as Gatti guy and Kulushevski.
