Well if he'll fit in the 4321 but definitely not in a 4231 as we'd be pretty unbalanced then. He's completely different from the options we have up front, and if he does well can you imagine the look on those Gobbi bastards?

Milito/Destro
Sneijder/Palacio-GIovinco/Alvarez

All this assumin Pazzini and Forlan leave. That is a pretty good attack.

He's definitely and upgrade to Ricky and he's had a pretty good season. The only problem is his size but meh, if Di Natale can do well why not Giovinco? Hopefully our good relationship with Parma will help us out.

But alas we'll have to wait till the 22nd when juve and parma decide what to do with him. But out of the realistic options which are him including Ramirez and Gomez I think he's the best choice.

Hopefully Lucio leaves by the time he comes, because he might want revenge for what Giovinco did to him :p

Giovinco would be a very interesting player. But his size is a factor IMO. And I'm not sure if he would be that good as a winger. I believe Juve tried him as a winger and it didn't cut it for him. At Parma he has been support striker meaning not that much defensive responsibilities and more central playing. Though he was also younger and lesser developed when he played at Juve.

Still, a very interesting player which will be hard to get because of Juve ownership.

It is a stupid idea to play him as a winger or not as a lone trequartista. He should be trequartista in a classic 4-1-2-1-2 formation, that's when he shows his class and uses all the freedom he's given, otherwise we won't see the best of his abilities. Why not sell Sneijder. I mean he's not completely irreplacaeble. And Giovinco could have more confidence, competing with Coutinho for the first-team. I mean it's about time to start using youngsters, otherwise we risk loosing the moment.

You'll have the envelopes on the 22nd? Parma will own him fully if their bid is higher right? Vice versa I don't want to go into. :palm:

Does anyone actually trust Italian football to handle a Jube related co-ownership issue without a bit of a fix? We don't want this thing to go to envelopes, we need to hope that Parma can just buy the second half.

yea.

and what is this talk about inserting coutinho and juan. that would be just insane, they are to promising to give away like that.

anyway i hope its either giovinco or destro who comes in, both would be to much. and giovinco is definitely the better one of the two, so yea...

he would be awesome on either the wing or as support striker in the centre. his speed and tricks are big big weapons and things that inter sorely lack. who do we have that can run at defenders with lightening speed? none, not even coutinho.

he is also a finished product like they say, he should be able to bring immediate impact and play almost every game. him and coutinho as his substitute would be awesome.

Parma will own him fully if their bid is greater than Juve's. However, if Juve want him back, then it's likely that they'll just place a bid that Parma won't be able to match.

Giovinco is almost 26. He's been the oldest "young talent" in football for years now.

26 is a problem? I think we need more players in that age bracket, all we've got is either very young players or players who are really old. Nice to have some middle ground.

We don't own Poli yet but this seems like a great team tho I hope we don't get Destro. Too expensive and won't ever play.

I'd love if we get De Jong or Sahin in Poli place. I doubt Cou will start over Palacio and he will prob go to Parma at least on loan for Giovinco

But it could mean that they massively overpay the Parma-bid, so lost a lots of money. And after this Inter-romours they will write even more to the envelope . Good job Branca!

Giuseppe Meazza played for Juventus :palm:

Not every person who plays for Rubentus is automatically scum. But the club as a whole is.

I would be happy to see Giovinco here, I have never thought of him as a Juve player because it seems they never really wanted him, far more appreciated by Parma instead. As far as I am concerned, we are buying a Parma player, not a Juve one, because they've never taken him seriously.
