But as i said this is the problem. Find me a club now that needs a GK and could afford to buy JC from us.

Its not easy for our big wage players to be sold for big amount of money, however 8-10 mil i am sure its decent for gk with JC qualities and i sure there are clubs that could afford possible deal, Branca is paid for a reason.

why can people say this about JC but I say the same truth about Zanetti, Cambi or Samuel and people want me off the forum. Inter is bigger than any player and we can't wait till the player decides to retire to keep paying him insane amounts and keep him as a starter.

We shouldn't have kept Cordoba or Matrix till they were 35 year olds when they stopped playing 2 year earlier.

We paid what 16 million euro for Rano? Had one of the worst defenses in Italy and still didn't give the guy a shot. Could you really imagine us giving a young player a shot at GK? The hardest and most important position of them all? Hell at this point I doubt we would have gave Balotelli a shot at all to be on this team

No that's not true:
Cesar: 4,5 mio / year + taxes
3 years x 4,5 mio x 2 (taxes) = 27 millions (for 3 years)

that's much money and we have seriously to think about to sell JC

But the only way we wind up saving much money is if we can get some sort of decent transfer fee for JC, which I'm skeptical about as the clubs that can afford his wages plus a fee don't need him, but that remains to be seen.

I'm only worried about who will buy JC. Not PSG, not City, none of the Spanish ones. Chelsea could do with a better keeper but I think they will stick with Cech after the CL triumph. Only some Turkish or Russian club will pay for JC and I doubt he wants to go there at this stage.

That is obvious , the problem is how thy intend to do this. If you can sell JC in a fair price (he should be valued at least the same value of Handanovic) and sign Handanovic with this money +2,3M than you have done a great deal because you win in wages and years left in high level.

What is fair price? 14 million? Only in dreams. He is 6 years older and has sky-high wages+ he is already over his peek.

Before these serious Handa-romours came i thought even a 8-10 million is too much we can hope for.

And now if we take the Slovenian, every club will know that JC will be sold, we are forced to do this, so there will be a 1-2 million or something or even a free leaving is imaginable. Easily.

Exactly. and if you count that Handanovic is 6 years younger, the transfer-fee would come back easily.

+ you can consider that 2-3 years later (at the age of 30), Handanovic will still have some market value. and JC has already havent too much with his wage.

Why are we even arguing wages and transfer value for JC when renewed fing CHIVU !!! I have no idea what management is thinking. Pissing off a player we can't sell, doesn't want to leave because of wages but giving a guy who has been a sub at Inter his whole career 1 million euro less than JC is just stupid. Chivu has to have pictures of Branca in the shower with little boys. Nothing else can explain this
