Robben scored a typical-Robben goal there. I think it should be named after him for the sheer number of times Robben does that. It is amazing that its the only thing he does. You are 100% sure everytime he gets the ball that he is going to try that same shit and somehow he manages to get away with it. Pretty much like Messi; in that situation you can bet your house that Messi always attempts the same.

Sneijder/Robben ftw!

Great victory for Oranje. It's so great seeing Sneijder and Robben in one team, they are great duo. Kudos to Sneijder and Robben for the Holland's first goal.. Sneijder gave that great long pass(or if we can call it assist), and Robben finished the action perfectly. It's even better that Sneijder scored the second goal for Holland, now he has two goals from four matches.

Well done!!

Unfortunately, it all depends who wins the WC really. If this were a non-WC year, one of Sneijder or Milito would've won ballon d'or. Probaby the former.

Anyways, fairly good game by the Dutch. That back-line is a bit soft though innit?

If you look at his highlight reel for the past couple of seasons, he always cuts into the middle and unleashes that left foot of his...Great goal but I do question the scouting from Slovakia on him, not sure how they let him cut into the middle like that

There is a reason scouts are not footballers. In a game its instinct, doesnt matter how much you "plan".

Completely agree. It's getting a little stale and it's somewhat bemusing that defences can't prevent it as easily.

I must also say that Hamsik was damn disappointing this world cup.
