As an Inter fan I hoped he would rot in the stands with Chelsea, understanding that he ruined his own chances.
As a Belgian, I'm happy he found a club where he will be the undisputed number 1. He will be supported by the club and by the fans and that is exactly what he needs to perform. I'm sure he will have a good/great season with them, but I couldn't care less as AS Roma is no competitor for Inter.

That being said, it's a pity he will probably still not understand what he did was "wrong" and "idiotic".

as in "break a leg?"

It's all down to Lukaku himself and how he gets on with Mourinho. It can go either way. For Roma this kind of deal makes sense, for us I'd still be skeptical, but at least Roma hasn't shot their foot with a crippling deal.
He's so overly sensitive that the second Mourinho tells him to man up he'll probably be butt hurt for the whole season.

Son of the great Fachetti:
Facchetti retraces the main stages of Big Rom’s strange story with Inter: “The story between Inter and Lukaku ended badly due to his responsibility and also a bit of his ‘court of miracles’. Taking him back was already a gamble, after the way he left. Once he returns, in fact he is he was waited almost until spring due to injuries and other difficulties. His contribution to last season was barely sufficient up to a certain point, leaving out Istanbul even if there are mistakes, and in fact the Interisti would have been happy to restart together With these premises, the player had the cheek to make claims”. Gianfelice advances a hypothesis: “I imagine he wanted Inzaghi’s sacrifice, pure madness. Whims aside from the footballer, the problem that led him to repeat identical situations also emerged. Talent has often masked all of this, also because for a betrayed fan there’s something right away another ready to be seduced. Today he lands in Rome and I hope San Siro ignores him when he shows up. No hard feelings, only Inter counts”.

"The Belgian attacker wanted to return to Inter, with whom he was in negotiations, then he was in combinations with Juventus, but in the end he decided on Roma. Lukaku played 97 games in Serie A. He scored 57 and assisted 18 goals. Football portal Goal points out the sentence with which Mourinho persuaded him to come.

The two worked together at Chelsea, and the key to the new collaboration proved to be a phone call in which Mourinho explained to Lukaku how he fits into his vision of the team and emphasized to him: "We have a good team, we just lack a champion in it."🤡

Well, I think Mou told him:
"Come to my place in Roma, because we both have nowhere else to go..."

Where can I find the full statement that Inter considered him back but the players refused to let that happen after all the drama this bitch did...

I couldn't care less where he ended up. He wanted Juve, and Chelsea thought that they can trick Juve to a swap deal with Vlahovic. He could play for Milan, Juve, Roma, Bayern, Liverpool... Changes nothing to me. I'm glad the cunt is gone.

No big club wanted him. Inter did because of Zhang.

We have a more compact squad thanks to Lakaka.

Actually, now we have a great squad because of this dumbass!

So thank you and good riddance!
That's the biggest positive to take from it all, the players we have signed that we probably wouldn't have if he signed.

Also with toro now captain and undisputed #1 he will shine and grow in confidence, which he has already shown in first 2 games.

All the best Rom, what you did was wrong but I'm to old for grudges, thank you for the memories.
