I think we will see Conte in Rube in near future( when Allegri is sacked in november after poor run or next summer) They are clearing lots of unwanted players with huge salaries, get few big sales too and therefore can afford sacking Allegri. This would be their plan B. Plan A s to give the same tools for Allegri and see how he copes. Because they are signing players for 352. New RWB already in. Inter have found an agreement with Chelsea. Lukaku just had to accept Inter's offer and he solves all his problems. Instead he chooses to return to London, prolonging his stay in a toxic environment and wait for Juventus. This isn't a spontaneous decision.

No, I think what probably happened was as the offers materialised and we kept asking Lukaku to cut salary further and further and kept submitting offers that showed our financial position, he's decided realistically to stay in Italy there's only one club that meets the parameters as Milan won't pay the salary. It wasn't even know for sure Allegro would be staying at Juve a month ago, nor the outcome of all their trials etc. I honestly very.much doubt Juve were making any real plans by then.

I thought Lukaku offered to cut his salary by 1m? Also, Alegri was staying even when they were in a shitshow, why wasn't it known that he would stay a month ago? They've iterated many times that Alegri was/is there to stay, he's simply too expensive to sack.
